I think issues lay with the auditors. I also believe Finncap draft RNSs, and the PR tweak / refine them. The blame goes wider than the PR company. And let's be honest. They haven't had much to work with in the last year.

I agree with you both. . I am ever hopeful that the tone of the update will be better than in the past but hopefully we will see an end to this atrocious PR firm . Once the interims are finally out , we need to see an announcement of the return of MV to the board , even ST if they can persuade him . We need a revitalised Board to move this business back to where we all know it should be . And soon .

Suspect the price to move down unless the tone of the update is a reversal of the usual opaque style of downplaying. Anyone care to give a figure for profit/loss which would be viewed as positive. My own view being if they indicate no need of requiring cash/debt its a positive.

Least next week results and all expectations are poor, thro COVID so anything remotely positive will be seen for what it is , remarkable . Let's hope . Then we can hope for swift firing of PR firm and changes at board level. Plus and all importantly some share buying by directors once interims are out That would be a real show of confidence after MV and ST bought so heavily

I am increasingly struck by the scale of MV and S increasing their stake and when they did it. With so much still unclear and up in the air, I would have assumed any big holder will have waited for interims for a sense of where the business is before upping. They didn't ...

Looks to me like this might be being set up for a PE outfit to come along and get it on the cheap. How can the Chairman (with many years of experience) accept this situation. He is seemingly content to sit back and let the company fail to give any sort of newsflow. Why investors and the market would not view this as a 'mismanaged' and failing company is beyond me.

Share purchases by large holders may signal this is not the case but sadly the silence from KE is worrrying. He has a lot on his plate with RVG so that must be where all his energies are directed. If he is too busy to spend time on ALT he really must consider his postion.

I fear it goes deeper. It feels like their internal finance systems aren't as efficient as they need to be. If peers in the same sector are issuing bang up to date numbers, why on earth are we months behind.

You are so right , i mean how hard is it to issue half year results . We know they arent going to be great or we assume not , and we get it due to COVID , but the board seem to not care one jot about investor relations . The PR is beyond appalling . I did hope they would get the results out this week and not as always leave it to the last week or the last month. Something needs to change here

It's really frustrating. And I'm far from convinced we will get any guidance on trading since end September with interims. It's very poor investor relations.
