Rob, I have absolutely zero doubt, that the only thing holding ALt back, is COVID. For a promotional products business, it’s a perfect storm. Sooner or later governments will realise that they can’t close economies indefinitely and that COVID is a bad flu. But it’s whether or not ALt is burning or how much cash it is burning in the meantime.

It's a bad look, however, to leave results to the very last day of reporting.

Big asks but lets me positive No reason why not and if they are positives that will tell us that there is only one thing holding alt back COVID Once we are past this worldwide pandemic we can start motoring again It will be a hugely good sign that the business is stable and has the same potential as it had pre COVID

Reassurance on cash position and a stabilisation in the US market would be most welcome. Potentially two big asks !

I am inclined to think the update will be a kitchen sink job with every bit of bad news thrown at it. Something like assurance on cash to hand or funding arranged on the other hand would be positive.

So results will be tomorrow or Wednesday - if not, we'll get suspended. I hope / suspect the delay is to ensure we get as detailed and up to date post period trading statement as possible. After all, we are 2 days away from the end of the first half, but still waiting on last years numbers.

Those ASI numbers I posted on the slow recovery of the US promo market are encouraging. Let's see if alt is seeing this.

PROMOGRAM September 24, 2020Promo Distributor Sales Improve in AugustAlthough sales are down year over year, they continue to recover from the COVID-19 crisis, rising slightly, compared to July 2020.By Theresa Hegel Sales of promotional products in North America continued to tick up slightly last month, though distributors' numbers were still well shy of where they had been in August 2019. Year-over-year sales were down 25.5% in August, a hair better than the 28.9% drop in July, according to ASI's just-released Distributor Sales Survey.July was a sharp improvement over Q2, when distributor sales were 44.4% off from 2019, signaling the possibility of a V-shaped recovery in the industry. But with August's slower sales growth, those hopes were tempered, bringing the expectation of a longer, slower climb through the rest of 2020 and into 2021

I guess we'll know soon. Clearly they are going to the wire on results. Hopefully it's to give as current picture as possible on current trading and creditor position. One thing I will say is the share price is totally bombed and huge negativity priced in to a large effect.

Perhaps but depends what the offer is and any add ons. To be fair to ALT, in the Q to December they did deliver US 2.5m in revs. And I suspect they could have beaten that in the Q to march without Covid. Up coming results will give us some clarity on that.

North the buying 'surge today represents some £42+k so its hardly significant. Any PE bid would need MV on board to stand a chance and why bid now when it seems to be trending lower each week.
