It's been like this for some time, it looks like a large seller is manually reducing, any tick up he sells, but the mms have never got stock as its bought up immediately.Let's see how many he has left as it will spike when he's finished

At the time momentarily the spread went 2.8 / 2.9 then back to 2.7 / 2.8.

End of the day whoever placed the trade is the only one who really knows.

I just don't see why the MM would be so generous. They wouldn't on a sell that size.

I hope you're right, but I don't understand how you think it's more likely to have been a 'buy' - apart from the fact that the offer rose a further two hours later.
