Okay.
Basically there was clearly a big development going on in the background in March, and people with deep pockets started buying (loads of shares). Punters thought it was the long awaited RCF and piled in also. The result was a frothy shareprice by May which was unsustainable when the acquisition happened. Investors, who had bought Millions of Alpha, took huge profits and ploughed into shares like i3e (still a great buy BTW - divi next month).
Meanwhile, back at Alpha there has been delay after delay. The RCF still not happened. The publishing of accounts from the acquisition (as far as I’m aware) still not happened. Add to this that CV19 still a big problem in the US, and probably affecting Alpha business more than they’d like to admit.
Add to this competition for life policies from other like companies (driving prices up and risking lower returns on BOAG fund). In addition, could returns on this fund be artificially raised due to CV19 meaning some lean years to come (frail ones have been taken out by the reaper).
Still on my watchlist, but my alternative, i3e is a once in lifetime oppo, so piled in big time. Doubt I’ll return to Alpha with more that a 500k buy. Maybe when it reaches 2p and settles. Currently a falling knife. It will rise again though IMV.

Possibly the difference now is buyers are showing more interest and once the seller is finished we will correct quickly imo

Good buying opportunity.I take the recent engagement of Eaton Partners, as an indication that completion of the RCF is close and thus also the start of separate managed accounts with minimum investments of $50m per account.
