Sale disclosure 1M shares at 11p Invesco Ltd - there should be several more disclosures with the size of some of the trades being processed in the last 30 hours..... What is the legal timeframe for a disclosure?

One trade (looks like a buy) of 5.55M shares (just over 2% of total number of shares) - any idea who the buyer is? There has also been several purchases of 500k to 1.6M shares at a time yesterday - could it be the same buyer? One announcement of a potential delisting and a fall of over 40% in market cap, with a NAV of multiple times current share price... and a massive lack of any published data on what is really going on behind the scenes....

If there is only a small net saving to monetisation timetable then i doubt this is in CA interests. After all a listing could have value especially if there are huge tax losses...something i believe AM has by the $100ms. They have not to be fair explained the rationale..one has to say spending circa $5.5m per annum on a passive holding company with only a handful of remaining assets is not right..but i know other listed companies even in this field , look at Frontier ip highly successful very activeYear 2021.."greater administrative expenses of £2,171,000 (2020: £2,011,000) primarily due to an increase in personnel and an increase in share-based payments to £368,000 (2020: £230,000)."This is an active company making great investment returns !https://www.frontierip.co.uk/Frontier up 53% over 5 yearsAllied Minds down 91% over 5 yearsCost twice as much to run ALM.

Won't surprise you to hear I agree with you @kooba.

But surely CRS are behind this, since they have a large amount of control?

That ALM are delisting should surprise no one - but having nothing whatsoever to say about monetising the assets is a surprise, even after long experience with ALM.

Conclusion must be that there's no prospect for the foreseeable of any returns IMO.

exorcised...wow thats a bit strong are you suggesting they are possessed? What they seemingly do have is no possession of any empathy with the long suffering shareholders. They have given no explanation of strategy no update on the formal sale process. No details on what they propose in terms of communications with shareholders if the shares are delisted , governance and policy. No details of what is a realistic timeframe to monetise the remaining assets which has been a key core strategy for over 3 years. The last official update on timescales was 1-2 years early 2021 i believe. So end 2022?To the point of monetisation lets say 18m being generous how much will be saved by delisting? Maybe $3m...yet they have loped $18m off the market cap.We still have Bruce on board Harry's mate who seems just as useless and the new directors have come in and agreed to push a delist that only last year the company said was not on the cards when questioned. The new directors have no shareholding when making this announcements and Chair Brucie has a tiny holding. They are not aligned with holders obviously and delisting offers even less visibility and accountability to shareholders...there is precious little in its current listed form.I fail to understand the costs the company rack up and attribute to a listing and would expect advisors etc are on long notice period retainers..so how much can realistically be saved? They still need a boardThey still need accountsThey still need to communicate with shareholdersThey will still have a wide shareholder base..though they seem to be successfully panicking some out.One must hope that Crystal Amber hold feet to the fire if and its an if they agree to delist. Someone has to try to protect investors here and it hasn't been something the board in its various guises has done for years.

I would presume they already have the backing of the institutions. Not sure on the numbers for this but guess they would need 75% support to delist. At the end of the day they have circa $9mill in cash and £6 mill running costs so would not be allowed to stay listed anyway.Hopefully the remaining $ can be used to support financing for orbital. Give it another year and those that haven't sold now should be rewarded. GLA

Not for sixteen months, Specto. They can't get anything for the holdings, clearly, but give them a little longer.

Would be logical if CA weren't winding up.

My guess is that CA want to hang on to their part of the holdings in FW, BridgeCom, OcuTerra and possibly OSK and TouchBistro. They might even be willing to be active in financing if they can, ie in a placing. That seems logical, and it would be safer as an unlisted company, as part of a reorganisation to release value.

Dobbyn will know you sometimes have to spend money to make it back.

My opinion, that's all. DYOR.

ALM has not been investing in its portfolio firms as no cash.. therefore best to exit its investments... and shut shop... no further dilution... just liquidation... that is all that is requested... even if cut rate... better than a private share listing...

We still haven't got any word on the liquidation of Spin Memory... on reviewing Linkedin... it appears to be a going concern...

What the heck is going on???

Company on Crystal Amber lets hear from you....

Key shareholders - this doesn't go through... even a firesale of holdings at 20p is well worth it rather than continuing as a private firm...

Liquidate and close this painful chapter...

I said no point blaming him for the delisting- by all means blame him for performance.

If anyone wants to buy the business- there is no better time than now to make an offer
(and my money is on deafening silence).

What? No point in blaming Harry? He is off the Board because his shareholders had no confidence in him!

All the comment on the new directors , and CA "should sort them out" is odd- the new Directors were CA recommendations. And there is no point blaming harry rein for the delisting- he is off the Board. This will be voted through- Blunt fact- the sale process didn't attract a buyer, the company has little or no cash, the investments are still some way from maturity, tech stocks are suffering worldwide (look at nasdaq) with small, immature, suffering the most. Small shareholders are being stuffed- but all kind of inevitable- a real widowmaker,

Most of them now have been put in place by CA. It's the others long gone who were the problem. This should have been reorganised before the Hawkeye payout.

When the company announced a policy of monetising the portfolio (2019) the shares were trading at a significant discount to stated nav at 60p in the market. How's that strategy going exactly??

CA will find it difficult to sort out this bunch of dodgy Directors , up market scam is probably to kind a description.
