07/7/2023 13:02 | Seems like momentum is building at Orbital Sidekick… hxxps://breakingdefe | catabrit
30/6/2023 11:04 | You’re welcome. We’re all expecting a 2nd quarter update call to be announced soon. More info will be provided then. They’ve been more open since the de-listing but they’re still quite cagey when it comes to information which is odd as one of the drivers behind going private was to increase transparency (according to the BoD). Anyway, I think we’re in good hands and the end result will be the end result. | catabrit
30/6/2023 10:55 | @Catabrit that's great, thank you. I shall indeed write to Allied and confirm my holding. | zimmie
30/6/2023 10:42 | Correct Zimmie. I would also encourage you to get in touch with Allied and let them know you’re a shareholder. I own a tonne of de-listed shares now and I’ve not yet struggled to get updates on corporate actions etc etc. A few are in the process of being wound up or will be soon and then I should have a better feel for what the process is like for de-listed shares. | catabrit
30/6/2023 10:28 | That's very helpful thank you. In my case I hold through a Hargreaves Lansdown SIPP, so the liquidation proceeds will first go to HL who passes this on to me? I assume Allied knows who holds their shares (via a shares register) and in what numbers? Thanks | zimmie
30/6/2023 10:16 | Well, they sell their equity interests in the various portfolio companies to other LPs / trade buyers and return the proceeds to us. Simples! I jest. Obviously for each of these we need a liquidity event rather than a valuation event. A hypothetical up round is great in terms of belief and NAV but it’s merely paper. The BoD will need to crystallise the up round by selling all or a portion of the equity. That then gets returned to us via a capital reduction or some sort of tax efficient distribution (hopefully not a dividend). I don’t know the exact mechanics but it’s not dissimilar to what other liquidations do. This isn’t a liquidation play yet as we still have a few hoops to get through if we want to maximise value. But once / if we get through them, then yeah the portfolio will be liquidated and the proceeds returned to us. | catabrit
30/6/2023 10:09 | I've followed this thread with interest as a holder from the old Woodford days :o( As this is new territory for me, how will we realise our cash (ie exit), now that it is no longer a quoted stock?? Who's going to buy from us and under what circumstances? Thanks | zimmie
30/6/2023 10:03 | I love your enthusiasm bobo! That would be a 10x for me and a hugely successful de-listing! Personally I’d be delighted with even 20-30p. Like you I saw a case for 50p and even 100p but I put super low odds on them and after the most recent update, lowered those odds further. But it’s not outside the realms of possibility. | catabrit
30/6/2023 09:57 | Personally I'm looking for at least 50p. If orbital can successfully launch and work the ghost constellation, (3 currently working) then I see a case for a $500mill plus valuation. Same applies for Fed. BC is not so clear and they still need to prove their 2km test to move forward. In one year our % on all 3 subs hopefully worth around £250 mill which would give an share price of around £1. That's exit time ! | bobonumber1
30/6/2023 09:50 | The cash runway is for another 1.5 years unless an individual sub is sold or job lot. | bobonumber1
29/6/2023 18:43 | Oh - and thanks for sharing Damers. Much appreciated. | catabrit
29/6/2023 18:43 | Federated have been really talking their book on LinkedIn in recent weeks. You’d think they were about to take over the world based on their bluster! Looking forward to the next update. However, I’ve mentally written off any prospects of making money here for at least the next 2-3yrs. Still, I think the odds look favourable of a nice 2-3x considering my basis of 10p. | catabrit

21/6/2023 15:48 | Cool. Thanks Bobo. | catabrit
21/6/2023 13:45 | They have ! Final accounts I believe are in today so an update in the next week is my guess. | bobonumber1
20/6/2023 10:57 | Does anyone know when we can expect an update? It looks like Orbital has had three successful launches. | catabrit
22/5/2023 13:53 | What have you seen ? | bobonumber1
18/5/2023 19:36 | Layoffs at Federated Wireless. A couple I’ve spotted on LinkedIn. Not a good sign. | catabrit
16/5/2023 16:45 | This from Bridgecomm an hour ago on Linkdin Good things are happening!! BridgeComm and Taj Quantum partner to create industry-first post-quantum attack-resistant optical wireless and smart contracts-based network. Check out the whole story: hxxps:// | believer2
19/4/2023 13:57 | The uptake is slower than expected but is something they are now concentrating on. That is across the sector. When people are already happy with their connectivity it is hard to get them to change even if the service is better. A hardened, incentivised sales force is what's needed to convert the customers sitting on the fence. | bobonumber1
18/4/2023 22:30 | I missed it was was actually said on FW..serial misses of any guidance...I think a new CEO is called for , the transition from r&d company to commercial venture leveraging off that IP to grow sustainable revenues often are rather different skill sets..FW cannot afford to miss the wave. | kooba
18/4/2023 20:30 | Some soft earnings from Ericsson today and the entire 5G wireless sector is selling off. So not inconsistent with what we heard last week re Fed. | catabrit
