Agreed. Seems like once an insti decides to sell, they don't care what the share price is-they just keep dumping.
Guess that's computerised trading for you.
Rather puts the skids under Numis's latest share price target! They look like the only broker covering APH.

Probably MVM partners as they started selling in June - just my opinion

Bit surprised we haven't had a holdings RNS to see who's dumping.

Yeah well we've got to be reaching a bottom so call it an opportunity. This is why I didn't rush to re-invest when I got stopped. A couple of big red candle days like we saw last week are a massive scare factor. Let it find a bottom and watch everyone pile in like a pack of dogs!

Buy recommendation in the Motley Fool. Fairly solid assessment, this is a solid defensive growth play and useful addition to any portfolio as a counter to more exciting plays.

Just doubled up at 72.3, always a challenge catching a falling knife but if we're not at the bottom at 70 then mid-60s should be the bounce point. WTB and acquisition RNS :). All imo ofc dyor.

"To justify its forward price/earnings ratio of 21 times, Alliance must maintain the impressive growth rates it has generated in recent years – something that will be quite hard without further large acquisitions. Although we remain confident Alliance will remain a well-run, cash-generative company, it's unlikely we'll witness the growth rates achieved over the last few years. Thus, we move back to hold.Last IC View: Buy, 70p, 27 Mar 2018"Of course this is just IC's opinion but at 75p today, clearly they are a buy again.

Got my IC through the post. Very positive Hold review based on 91p so we are looking very cheap. Growth is being checked to maintain free cash flow. This will lead to steady and sustainable growth. Acquisitions very positive. Expected full year profits up 4m. I've reinvested after getting stopped out at 84 so glad I've missed the full drop!

Bought more yesterday. Sure it's a disappointing drop, but as an investor I expect to see 100p in the next 12 months as they're acquisitions and new products hit the markets. So yes, a 30% upturn from here and I shall buy on any rise.

hold at 90
basically, short term this stock was over priced at 95 and is now under priced at 75.
Longer term skies the limit. Good management, growing global reach/portfolio.

It looks like we're slowly turning back into a buyers market at last. Crazy week for APH! Should stabalise and climb. I'm betting the tipsters start calling out the overreaction at the weekend as well so hopefully we'll get a steady rise going.

200dma is 80p. It needs to recover back to that level quickly or a prolonged period of weakness looks likely
