20/9/2018 10:01 | Bought in at 83 yesterday and will double up at 65... otherwise happy to hold and ride out the volatility. This is still a solid growth stock that will continue to acquire to supplement modest organic growth. | rathean
20/9/2018 09:49 | Agree am in at 73p over reaction this morning. | puffet
20/9/2018 09:48 | Time to buy back in perhaps | malcolmmm
20/9/2018 09:43 | Correction overdone IMHO and it remains a solid long term hold. The launch of the new drug into UK commences this coming quarter with EU to follow....this will be an important launch for the company and one which may yield substantial revenues. | catch007
20/9/2018 09:34 | 20% in 2 days.... | michaeljames1
20/9/2018 08:51 | The thing is the business is running well but when you take into account the new profit figures it's not looking like an attractive price to new investors. Most of that can be written off as one off costs and new products mean growth over the next 6-12 months. The home markets are nothing in comparison to potential international growth opportunities and with UK/US pharmacy taking over the world via WBA driving demand for European products (often perceived as superior e.g. Chinese baby milk scandal) that goal will be easier for UK based companies like APH. The profit will be back. I think it's a good time to buy but I'm probably going to wait for this madness to settle before I make a final decision. I don't know where this is going over the next few months/years but my feeling is that it'll settle at a lower price point until growth is realised. | dround87
20/9/2018 08:17 | Needs to prove itself brfore I buy more. Keeping a core holding for now. | volsung
19/9/2018 21:48 | Wrong board sorry... | dround87
19/9/2018 18:15 | I took a profit today on NWF and running the numbers again on my portfolio this is such a strong stock. Great fundamentals. Can't explain the drop. It's baffling but its a great time to add. | dround87
19/9/2018 18:06 | I think it’s improbable that all brands will perform well each reporting period. Some will do well, others won’t. As long as the continued momentum is upwards then I’m happy. And I think the new CEO is a safe pair of hands. He’s been with the company for years. So I see this as a blip rather than a trend. Lots of excitement to come and the results actually showed good progress in paying down debt - if you exclude the recent acquisition. The fact that non-UK sales are higher than UK sales is comforting. | cisk
19/9/2018 17:57 | It seems profit performance was hurt by GBP1.3 million in one off-costs during this period, primarily due to an impairment of the assets held by a infant milk formula joint venture Synthasia International Co Ltd. Last year, Alliance Pharma reported a GBP5.0 million one-off gain associated with compensation received. On an underlying basis - excluding exceptional costs - profit rose 1.7% to GBP12.1 million from GBP11.9 million the previous year. | mazarin
19/9/2018 16:20 | Agreed and I have added today as I never thought I would see the 80p area again | norbert colon
19/9/2018 16:08 | Will definitely bounce back. I brought quite a few at 83p. Expecting it to go back up to 93-95p mark within the next 2 weeks | saeed45
19/9/2018 16:03 | I've been out for quite a while so I took today's 'surprise drop' as an opportunity to get back in on the back of essentially solid results, increased revenue and improved dividend, inspite of a few niggles here and there, so I'm hoping for a 'bounce'. I've actually been holding APH for years, long before I ever created this thread and have been generally happy with Management style. Time will tell. | mazarin
19/9/2018 14:13 | I'm sure it will. Hard for me to decide to buy back in at the same price though! I might wait and see where we close. | dround87
19/9/2018 13:58 | Disappointing results. Nearly sold at 100 as it seemed a bit stretched Probably ok in the longer term as many have confidence in management and will ride this short term disappointment out in the expectation of long term gain. I have put a stop profit price at 79. | tim1478
19/9/2018 13:56 | Market certainly not impressed. :-( | wetdream
19/9/2018 13:19 | Well it hit my stop at 84. Can't believe it! Bad day for APH | dround87
19/9/2018 13:09 | Sold a good chunk of mine. I think it was disappointing sales in the home markets that has caused the fall. | volsung
19/9/2018 13:08 | Taken a position at 83p, didn't think I'd see this entry level again. Very happy punter. | rathean
19/9/2018 09:48 | I find the H1 Results somewhat disappointing. Organic growth lower than I expected and a nasty hit from a collapsed Chinese deal. However, long term APH should do o.k. - at a steady pace. IMHO. | winnings1
19/9/2018 08:22 | Good solid performance, new products kick in later in the year.Good share to hold long term imo | malcolmmm
18/9/2018 20:11 | Tomorrow should be interesting with the new products in mind | malcolmmm
18/9/2018 12:17 | |Results tomorrow, though we know pretty much what is to be reported. Next year holds a lot of promise. | silverfern
13/9/2018 18:09 | Sizeable volumes reported towards the close. | wetdream |
