ooooooh is somebody maybe trying to short this just before a potential break north! or just somebody taking a few off the table in case we don't breakout?
All good stuff but annoying though! Just breakout will ya.

I've been nibbling my way in since support at 200 proved successfull. Completed my holdings and now awaiting steady progress. Expecting fairly strong ressitence around 280p and then on to break 300p before christmas. Slow but a fair return.

210 - bang in the middle of resistance

could break either way, but share price justified by fundamentals, imo

Still going up, but I'm expecting serious resistance at or just above 200p, as this is not only a former support area but also the declining tops line.

Telegraph today indicates if sales dont pick up they could lose more concessions.

Too much risk here.

Thanks for your comments and the link to the analyst's comments...I will follow your suggestion and put them on my radar screen and poke my nose into one of their operations

spent time looking at this out of curiousity following the trading update...will not be buying as a marcap of almost £100m seems very high unless the property assets of £16m are grossly undervalued...but do not have the energy/time to do the work to short, especially as I see the price gently drifitng down
if I have missed something no doubt this will be pointed out to me

Sales down as expected investors need to look at JQV as they are bucking the trend an sales are expected to be up. Moreover JQV is on a massive discount to the market.

Great analysis from Investec. They forgot to mention that this company with or without Dolcis is doing absolutely pants. This cracks me up "the group's sale of loss-making footwear seller Dolcis for 2.7 million pounds ($5.33 million) -- announced on Monday -- was a good deal and meant the shares were now undervalued."And they actually get paid for that kind of waffle.

Still very quiet on this thread considering the increasingly convincing breakout. Oh well, a few of us at least are enjoying this rather surprising Christmas present. Have to admit I would not have nominated Alexon to be my best performing stock of the last 2 weeks but that just shows you why it's worth having a balanced portfolio and being patient. Even the absolute turkeys usually have their day sooner or later.

Looking even more like a breakout now. There are unfortunately other potential resistance points - 200 MA at around 170, some lateral resistance at 180, and the big one at around 200 which has not only the 2005 support-turned-likely-resistance but also the declining tops from the whole big downmove since 2004. Assuming we close near current levels my best guess would be that there will be a move to retest that 200 level sometime early in the new year.

Was it a good deal. Selling a business they paid the high digits for a measly 2.7 million.

These analysts want shooting.
