Posted at 13/7/2011 10:10 by simon42 AXN have a lot of retail business in Ireland and Irish retail is still in the middle of a mud slide. Can't be good. I was looking/waiting for a turnarond story here but it doesn't look like it's going to happen imo. They should push the internet harder! |
Posted at 09/4/2011 09:48 by kfp Better than expected results just might help AXN share price if they say shoppers are still buying clothes ? |
Posted at 27/1/2011 19:41 by wilb Surely not. Think of AXN customers - they won't be tightening belts. Even if they were they would be anxious not to show it at their dinner parties - new season, new frock. |
Posted at 27/1/2011 10:03 by kfp Looks like Investec has kept axn as a buy, other anulyst (spelling mistake) seem to think the lower profit estimate from their expectations is a profit warning, but level2 looks good 1800 buy - 293 sell |
Posted at 27/1/2011 09:50 by spaceparallax Well done AXN. |
Posted at 21/12/2010 19:23 by simon42 A shame this has happened really. A snow free Xmas would have given us a clearer picture as to whether or not AXN is a recovery story or a dog on his last legs. The jury is still out. |
Posted at 06/12/2010 09:51 by spaceparallax Obviously the bashers are teaming up on AXN.We had the IMS just 10 days ago and already they're choosing to ignore what it said, instead preferring to clutch at negative straws. |
Posted at 29/11/2010 12:17 by spaceparallax It IS difficult to predict how sales will go over the coming weeks. Don't really see where you come up with the admin by Easter, unless that's just wishful thinking on your part.I'm here because I can foresee tremendous recovery potential, but yes AXN are having to travel a tough journey in difficult times and consequently are a higher risk share. Overall though, given the highly discounted sp, I'd say this offers a good risk:return ratio for those interested in investing rather than mkt manipulation through shorts etc... |
Posted at 24/11/2010 12:07 by spaceparallax I saw the last AXN figures as pretty good - definitely heading the right way. What the next will bring depends very much on how the economy bites.Indeed only time will tell. |
