09/9/2009 14:54 | I've added that link in the header Strolling - ta. Definitely not much stock about and why would there be after that statement? Results are a nailed on at H1 now and from all the macro data about at the moment I bet H2 is going to get upgraded. Tons of great property assets, acquisition to kick in and a co that's been there seen it and done it as far as recessions go even in the 30's. I'm holding these for an age myself - just a well run great little co that's doing everything right imo. CR | cockneyrebel

09/9/2009 12:56 | Cracking trading statement just out :-) 9 September 2009 AIRSPRUNG FURNITURE GROUP PLC ("Airsprung" or "the Group") Result of Annual General Meeting Airsprung (AIM:APG), the supplier of manufactured and imported furniture, announces that at its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed. The Chairman, Stuart Lyons, made the following trading statement: "The strong recovery forecast for the first half year is materialising as expected. Sales are now running well ahead of 2008, although still somewhat short of the levels achieved two years ago. Profits for the four months ended 31 July 2009 have been significantly higher than last year, when trading losses were incurred, and are likely to remain so until the half-year end. It is too early to predict the impact of economic conditions on employment and consumer spending in the second half of the year, but the directors believe that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the Group's performance will continue to move ahead satisfactorily." | cockneyrebel
