29/6/2009 10:03 | " It was you who first directed me to this a few years ago now. Thanks to you for all that homework. Beginning to look VERY cheap, as it still has to double for me to break even " LOL ROFLMAO | spob
29/6/2009 09:37 | Aye Aye seconded and now joined you in INB this morning. | knowing

29/6/2009 08:18 | Rather chuffed with my 50k at 11.55p average over the last few weeks. Hush-a-Bye purchase was a massive steer that things were going okay. Assets provided all the protection one could want. Looking forward to my divi :-) | deswalker
29/6/2009 08:15 | Wow superb results. | knowing
29/6/2009 08:13 | Well done Greek Islander. Isn't this a great little co? Through the recession like a hot knife through butter - great statement - confident - chuffin' brilliant :-) I shall continue to hold, held for about 4 years now and I expect (barring Brown tottaly screwing the UK) these will get back to their highs within a year or so. CR | cockneyrebel
29/6/2009 08:03 | Yes finally rewards for those of us who have hung on through thick and thin. | greek islander
29/6/2009 08:00 | yes excellent upbeat results, well done to everyone who held. | traidemark

29/6/2009 07:55 | They made £300k pbt in H2 after a loss in H1 ! They will do about £1m pbt next year imo - Market cap £2m @ 12p a share. They have £1.5m cash. They have £7m odd net property assets. They are going to start paying a divi again - half p final - that will probably be 1p for the coming year. These are maevelous results - they are worth 30p a share in my book - just got another 30K @ 15p CR | cockneyrebel
29/6/2009 07:48 | great results and 5% dividend, 10x to 50x better than keeping money in bank. | daytraders
29/6/2009 07:43 | I have had a quick scan before off to the office. Return to profitability in H2, current trading profitable, strong cash position, pension fund deficit reduced significantly, and paying a 0.5p div. Hardly sounds like a company that's going bust. | the big fella
27/6/2009 17:02 | id expect the results to be as expected, poor sales in difficult conditions. But with that said i really do not think you can lose in the medium term with these, bad news is priced in and if there are positives within we may see a sharp correction in the share price these are priced to go bust, results will provide further evidence that the ship is steady so we may well see a climb from here. If on the other hand results are better than expected then watch the fireworks. | traidemark
27/6/2009 16:30 | GYAU - AKA gumarabic, westcoastrich, whiterussians, sixpenceonethericher - A sad multi-handled pillock imo. As Airprung never supplied Sleep Depot (who had concessions in Land of Leather) and never supplied MFI then it sounds like good news for Airsprung imo. CR | cockneyrebel
27/6/2009 16:21 | well the news i was told was that airsprung had won contract with tesco, and have just started the orders for them, lets see if this is in there results somewhere monday, maybe they wanted to wait and release news with there results and not a separate rns, only what i was told mind you, gl | daytraders
27/6/2009 12:58 | Shop failures hit Silentnight sales 26th June 2009 By James Graham - Business Correspondent THE failure of several big retailers knocked sales at Silentnight, one of the UK's biggest bed manufacturers. Famco Holdings, the company behind Silentnight, said in recently filed accounts that the collapse of Sleep Depot and MFI had contributed to lower turnover. There was also a "significant weakening" of the bed market during the period but the directors said the business had managed to increase its market share. | gyau
27/6/2009 11:21 | Results Monday. I think absolute disaster is priced in here. Market cap £2.2m. Cash of near £1m at interims (though they have just acquired Hush-A-Bye from that cash). Property assets that must still be worth in excess of £7m imo. Sales of £40m. Pension deficit reduced from £2.9m a year ago to £1.7m at the last interims. This co has the masssive potential to rebound from this recession - lots of competiion gone or buried under a mountain of debt. Earnings enhancing acquisition recently for cash. I dare say the mumbers on Monday won't be delightful - not many co's are at the moment - but the price has absolute carp factored in imo. As retail rebounds these will get sucked north imo. 24/6/2009 12:44 | Looks like this may be on the move later today. | knowing
22/6/2009 10:05 | yeh but i dont want to divulg info if it turns out not to be 100% correct. | daytraders
21/6/2009 16:55 | daytraders, there is nothing wrong with divulging information heard. i worked for bt, 18 months ago the share price was 200p and i attended an area meeting, the management informed us that new lines were down by 21% i sold my shares and informed the bt board, i got a right slating but results came out and sure enough new lines were down by 20+% now if it had been a meeting behind closed doors and we had been warned not to mention anything outside of the meeting then ok, but i felt it was information that was meant to be open so i passed it on, thats what these boards are for. | traidemark
19/6/2009 16:04 | not if it aint true would i, i need confirmation, also im not a fan of ramping on just speculation, if i do find out it is true i will buy in and then post here, even what i just wrote some will see as ramping. | daytraders |
