I find that a little hard to believe. If you were told something by a "close friend" I am sure you would have bought and would be ramping the sh*t out of it by now.

Daytraders - 5 May'09 - 20:43 - 920 of 1050 edit

guys, seeing as i worked for this company a few years back, and live like 2 minutes away from the factory and pass it all the time, and i know alot of the people that work there also, as there my friends, so i am going to see what i can find out from them, see if i can learn about upcoming orders or anything that may make share price move north, will keep you informed if i get any juicy news before it happens ok ;)

newbe - you've been here for about 3 years, trying to talk the stock down on any opportunity. You wan't here asking if anyone had heard any news when these doubled recently.

newbe.. I don't think it's related (could be proved wrong...?), the shares are so illiquid any normal sized trade(i.e. more than a couple of hundred quid) effects the price

I think you guys are misreading what I wrote,I never slagged anyone off as you put it,no one has had any scorn poured on them nor will they,i simply asked had anyone heard any news as to why the shares had moved so much so close to announcement time, which must be soon.

amazing how anyone can slag someone off for giving his views on a stock that has fallen in price.

hasnt every stock fallen in price, i like sola ... alot, ive been talking about it alot ... the share price has fallen from 700p to just under 200p today.

i suppose i deserve newbe's scorn for that one.

You've been here trying to work that out for about 2 years then newbe - you obviously aren't the sharpest cookie on that score if it's taken you that long imo.

Yep, I was buying at 50p. I was also buying 2 years or so ago at around 11p and more recently at 7p. Geoff Boycott and Ian Botham both had the odd duck but their over all batting average was pretty good.

hope you're right CR,

a few Cos not releasing not particularly pleasing updates, and still with little visibility..breakeven for this year will be positive.

I think some will do ok, but others will still be missing forecasts and expectations and peeps will get caught out.

yep, good news newbie - the good news is we don't have to listen to your dross until the share price ticks down, then you turn up as ever.

Hush-A-Bye acquisition expected to be very advantageous I hear. £80k operating profit + sales gains using their network and other synergies. I reckon the £300K investment will bring in £60-90K pbt this year compard to the £9K interest that £300k would have brought in.

Think about it - the market cap here is £2.8m. Forget the £8M+ property asseys the Hush-A-Bye acquisition alone with the synergies are going to produce £150K+ operating profit imo. That is aside from everything earned from the rest of the business.

Miles too cheap imo.

hardly, just an over reaction to a small sell.

the advantage will come when it moves up again, the rise will be LED like.
