Quite a bleak Chairmans statement and no mention of any RTO discussions.

2013 was a very difficult year culminating in the sale of materially all assets
...I would like to thank former staff and directors during very difficult times
without whose efforts it is unlikely the Company would have a realistic future.

The cash position of the Company is currently £0.04m

Well written statement by Kola.
£43m in retained losses, will come in very handy.

And a nice 2.1m buy displayed @ the end of trade.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know which way this is going, Share Price Through the 200 day Moving Average.
This will do an LPH, in performance terms. 7 Bagged. And is still rising after two big shareholders entered the fray.

You can't get any better kudos than a Globally Respected African Billionaire buying 16% of AFE's stock!.

CHART
Can't post it but the share price is bang on the 200MA. All other indicators are Positive.
V Bullish - coinciding with Mr Karim and Clarkes unsecured loan.
What will they use AFE for...A Nigerian Oil Company Perhaps ?!

Not saying it will happen, but I remember a company called Hidefield, (HIF), which was lent money to keep it going for a while. In the end certain people who lent the money had it paid back in shares. The only thing was, the share price had plummeted and those people effectively too control of the company. As I say, this may not happen here, but what do I know. I thought AFE had a world class deposit and we were on our way to riches.

Nicely put BAM BAM.

The news today may seem innocuous to some, but it shouldn't.

Can't help seeing the frequency of the sharp moves up increasing in conjunction with healthy volumes since mid May.

It's in relation to the accounts currently being processed. AFE have no cash, so to allow the auditor to pass the company as a going concern, the BoD agreed to provide working capital as needed. The auditor can now sign off the accounts on that basis.
