Posted at 05/2/2019 21:51 by malc5 Is there still anything happening here? AFE seems to be running quite successfully! |
Posted at 14/11/2017 17:31 by excellance So, a lot of time has passed since afe died, but who owns dutwa now? |
Posted at 12/2/2015 09:23 by melodrama That RNS is an automatically generated RNS from the Stock Exchange, AFE is not in control of that. Doubt very very much there is anything sinister going on here. Mr Karim, has a reputation that he will not wish damaged in any way. |
Posted at 31/7/2014 16:26 by hereford29 when is the deadline for the suspension? and what happens if the shares are suspended before they buy anything, I suppose they will just re-list later anyway? It must take them a while to look for a decent target. Or I suppose they could reverse AFE into one of the two main shareholders private operating assets. |
Posted at 05/6/2014 13:56 by bam bam rubble AFE didn't receive any cash income on the sale though. A closer look at the terms of sale suggest they may have actually paid Mr Clarke to take it off their hands; "The assets were sold to Nick Clarke through a newly incorporated subsidiary, for $100,000 cash, to be used to fund costs/expenses of the disposal. For liabilities other than the sale costs & expenses, AFE's exposure will be limited to $100,000" i.e. they were sold for nil with Mr Clarke agreeing to fund the costs/expenses of the sale up to $100k. AFE agreed to cover any additional liabilities up to $100k. |
Posted at 05/6/2014 12:53 by saloba11 Took his asset there instead of putting it into AFE BAM BAM? His oil asset has nothing to do with AFE thou, there is however a connection between Nick Clarke and AFE as NC owns 90% of the Duwta project which AFE have a 10% free carry interest. |
Posted at 03/6/2014 16:18 by saloba11 BAM look at some of the recent Shell companys that have had massive upside recently, COMS, VMP, ASTA. A company like AFE are appealing to reverse takeovers and i wouldnt say 2.5m is over valued given the 10% carry free interest in the Dutwa Project UNTIL $20m has been spent on the development. AFE also had a holdings in Elephant Coppper which is being taken/ or has been taken over by IMM. Kola Karim is not coming here to damage his reputation, this polo playing mystro is here for a reason......... |
Posted at 03/6/2014 09:20 by saloba11 Fen 0.9p why so low, Afe have a 10 free carry interest in Dutwa until $20m has been spent on the development of the project that alone is worth £12m to Afes assets. 12m/ shares in issue = 1.38p. Good luck |
Posted at 10/4/2014 09:44 by nash81 copied from other BB:"AFE vs RRR" both AFE and RRR were around 16p back in 2011 and now both around 0.38p. market cap for AFE about 4m market cap for RRR about 6m Yet, AFE has sold almost all of its assets last year, ie the only main asset left is the royalty. Edison valued assets of AFE around 3p "with" the assets (see edison website), but since assets have been sold, i would say AFE is overpriced now. while RRR still have all assets, of which colombia mine (worth 3p-4p if sold), Greeland mine (2p+), kenya gold with 2million Oz gold and jupiter shares and royalty. all in all, RRR worth several multiple of current market cap and it will change very very soon once the sentiment change over there, which wont be too long now. wont be long for RRR to be near double digit share price again. gla and dyor |
Posted at 09/4/2014 11:30 by andrbea afe 5%it's down 96% or so from all-time highs quite a few resource stocks in the same boat how long do the MMs intend to keep things this low, all year? That will take quite some doing IMO. stop press up 21% and see that big trade: 09/04/2014 12:27:52 AFE 0.20 O 200,000 09/04/2014 12:22:51 AFE 0.20 O 250,000 09/04/2014 12:17:09 AFE 0.23 O 184,245,047 works out at 423763 quid. |
