African Battery Metals plc ("ABM" or the "Company")

Update on Exploration Activities

African Battery Metals plc, the AIM listed African focused exploration company developing projects in strategic battery metals, is pleased to provide an update on its exploration activities in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo, (the "DRC").

Overview

Commenced exploration work on the licences in Cameroon acquired as part of the purchase of Cobalt Blue Holdings Ltd (see release of 8th August 2018), ("ABM's Cameroon Licences" or "Cobalt Blue Permits" in figures 1, 2 & 3)), which are close to and in part contiguous with the Nkamouna cobalt-nickel-manganese project1 which was historically majority owned by Geovic Mining Corporation ("Geovic"). Nkamouna hosts one of the world's largest undeveloped cobalt resource outside the DRC2:

ABM has acquired key geophysical data, which helps identify the source of cobalt-nickel mineralisation observed in the region of the ABM Cameroon Licences;

Commissioned desk top report and site visit to AMB Cameroon Licences by Sahara Natural Resources Ltd ("Sahara"), a highly qualified independent group specialist in African exploration; and

Identified a series of targets on ABM's Cameroon Licences for follow-up work, which exhibit the same geological signature displayed by the cobalt-nickel licences historically held by Geovic.

Received assay results from the auger programme on ABM's part owned Kisinka licence in the DRC, which provide minimal evidence of cobalt or copper mineralisation.

ABM CEO, Roger Murphy, said,

"I am very excited by the opportunity we have acquired in Cameroon. We know from Geovic's past exploration work at Nkamouna, that this area hosts one of the world's largest non-DRC cobalt resources2, and that we are in 'elephant country' for cobalt and nickel. We believe we understand why the mineralisation is where it is in the licences historically held by Geovic and, as the charts in this release show, we have similar areas within ABM's Cameroon Licences. I look forward to implementing an exploration programme, which I believe should confirm the presence of cobalt and nickel on ABM's Cameroon Licences.

At the same time, I'm disappointed that our work so far on Kisinka in the DRC has not yet provided significant evidence of cobalt or copper mineralisation. However, Kisinka is a large licence area in the right area on mapped Roan geology, with large copper-cobalt mines nearby. Our work to date has only covered a small fraction of the licence so we therefore cannot rule anything out yet. We will assess our next steps on Kisinka relative to those for our licences in Ivory Coast and Cameroon."

TSI sell Cameroon assets to ABM for 11% of the company at a shareprice of 3.25p and almost immediately they dump the shareprice to put of any buying.Same is happening in every share you find lenigas where raising money is secondary to the shifting of assets.Watch out for circum assets being moved from PREM

African Battery Metals (ABM LN) 2.0p, Mkt Cap £2.7m – project update on Ivory Coast nickel, cobalt and chrome project

The company announce its commenced geological work on its recently acquired 380 sq km Lizetta II nickel, cobalt and chrome exploration project in Ivory Coast.

ABM commissioned a site visit by a technical team, led by a highly qualified exploration geologist to prepare for a structured field exploration programme.

Additional historic technical data has been identified during the visit and is in the process of being acquired which will augment the 2017 Watts Griffis McOuat, ("WGM") of Canada, independent consultancy's results already acquired by the Company. The work of WGM re-confirms previous exploration highlighting the occurrence of up to 0.25% Co, 0.87% Ni and >1% Cr in surface anomalies.

The major surface anomaly remains open to the South-South-East and provides potential to expand the mineralisation’;s footprint. The supplementary surface sampling programme will initially exploration extensions of the anomaly, as well as follow up on unexplored areas, with the aim of identifying areas potentially suitable for reverse circulation drilling.

ABM CEO Roger Murphy notes “the work marks the next stage in our development as we look to work closely with all shareholders in developing the current asset base, with includes cobalt and nickel projects in the Cameroon and the DRC, as well as identifying additional opportunities to cement our growth strategy and build value”.

.Dont seem to be available?????.IGS would normally be expected to work with PGW not WGM.http://www.pgw.ca/site/home.A lot of info has been gathered.http://www.pgw.ca/site/africa/african-magnetic-mapping-project.ABM now another company where every rns has to be taken with a pinch of salt and analysed for lies and stalling for time. This is typical Lenigas

Pegasus59How do you know for sure IGS are involved? I know them quite well and havnt heard ivory coast mentioned before although they do work extensively across Africa for the world bank..Thats a big red flag you posted and means lenigas is here. It certainly would explain the share price manipulation and the stock being shorted by his gang of rats..At this low price i would say BUY!BUY!BUY! even with your obvious red flag.

I dont think they are telling the truth in this latest update. When they mention historical data that means that BGS/IGS and NERC are involved. NERC are major shareholders of IGS and TSI also hold 29%of IGS. This field trip is just nonsense as the whole of the country will have been mapped from top to bottom. The use of historical data means they have used the IGS tool igsxplore. Why have they dropped the share price so low. Who is/are the offtake customer/s

Update on Ivory Coast nickel, cobalt and chrome Project

African Battery Metals Plc, the AIM listed African focused exploration company developing projects in strategic battery metals, is pleased to announce that it has commenced geological work on its recently acquired 380 sq km Lizetta II nickel, cobalt and chrome exploration project in Ivory Coast ("the Project").

Overview

· ABM commissioned a site visit by a technical team, led by a highly qualified exploration geologist to prepare for a structured field exploration programme

· Additional historic technical data has been identified during the visit and is in the process of being acquired which will augment the 2017 Watts Griffis McOuat, ("WGM") of Canada, independent consultancy's results already acquired by the Company.

· WGM's 2017 work, re-confirmed previous work that showed the occurrence of up to 0.25% cobalt, 0.87% nickel and over 1% chrome in surface anomalies

· The major surface anomaly (see figure 1) is open to the South-South-East ("SSE") and provides potential to expand the mineralisation's footprint

· A supplementary surface sampling programme is planned to explore the extension of the mineralisation anomaly to the South-South-East, within the Project, as well as to follow up on unexplored areas, with the aim of identifying areas potentially suitable for reverse circulation drilling ("RC") identified from surface anomalies

ABM CEO, Roger Murphy, said, "Work has commenced on the Lizetta II Project in the Ivory Coast, with the aim of following up on historical and past indications of nickel, cobalt and chrome soil anomalies. We are pleased to have identified additional historical data which reconfirms the prospectivity of the Project, and to have established that the Project's mineralisation is open to the SSE. Planning of field activities is progressing well, and we will brief the market as soon as these activities have commenced."

"The Project was recently acquired as part of the Regent Resources Capital Corporation transaction, which saw ABM gain highly supportive and proven mining professionals, including Stephen Dattels and Ian Stalker, as shareholders. The work marks the next stage in our development as we look to work closely with all stakeholders in developing the current asset base, which includes cobalt and nickel projects in the Cameroon and the DRC, as well as identifying additional opportunities to cement our growth strategy and build value."
