Does anyone know when the results are due. These where on 22 September last year, but I can not see the usual announcement?

Well, I think that dawsonpaul's little birdie is telling porkies.

AI website today is showing 11 vacancies - of which 10 are in Montreal (including 6 buyers!)

Also, a change in salary payment date constitutes a change in the terms & conditions of employment - and could only be done after serving the employees affected the relevant notice. If they have done it in the way that he describes, then they would leave themselves open for some serious claims.

Don't know why, but it looks like someone is trying to start a rumour to push the price down.

20 people let go in Canada.

AI HR in the UK have also very suddenly changed the pay day from mid month (15th) to end of, only letting their people know on the 11th - maybe a books tactics?

MDJ8 - You're right - Air Canada is the big one.

Hi Robsy, I think the biggest issue for this company at the moment is the US$100- million Bill of Exchange from Air Canada they are sitting on and the risk that Air Canada goes into chapter 11. The risk of Air Canada failing has subsided a great deal and once we get out of the woods and the Bill matures and is turned into hard cash the share price should be flying again.

Like MDJ8 I've been around here a while.

I can't see the share price at £15 by sept 10 which is what the directors need but if Forecast eps is 70p with a total dividend for the year of maybe of 20p,say 6+14 against last years 6+12, then providing they can be positive about prospects going forward then this is very cheap.

In a year when the share price has gone from 700p down to 150p and recovered they will have improved earnings from EPS 50p to EPS 70p!So what was that all about?

Low interest rates and the strengthening US $ will have helped boost results, Some new business will have offset some slowdown on the regular business.
Cashflow will have improved so the BS should be stronger and operationally contracts are maturing which is good. They have a huge market to hit at and a lot to offer and industry that is in intensive care.

There are always negatives.I will be interested to see how their margins are holding up. Also that they are getting paid without difficulty.
So 1500p looks wildly optimistic but I can see this hitting an all time high at some point but I don't know when that might be.

Peak to trough demand fall is est at 12% for the airline industry. We haven't got near that yet and there are signs of recovery. It seems to me that a big plus with this company is the relative predictability of income.Practically all their income is tied into long-term contracts and is very transparent. No credit is given for this.
Anyway thats enough of my musings for now. Lets see what the results bring
Good luck to all holders

They are welcome to a bonus if they hit £15 a share, I have been in since 177p and this is my second largest holding so hopefully you are right.

BP - some of us who found it early have seen it go down rather a lot before its more recent tepid "recovery" to these lowly levels. Don't forget either that the execs and staff get a huge bonus if the share price hits £15-...That said those are sizeable trades and given results due towards the end of this month, are hopefully an indicator of good news to come.

This share is funny, doesnt seem to do much but go up, every so often the share price doesnt really budge but a massive buy goes through. 4 trades have gone through today totaling £4,000,000. For a company valued at £142,000,000 thats a sizeable chuck (2.8%)

Ken, this was the same last year, or was that the year before - there appears to be no fixed date - it is chosen approx 2 weeks before the actual event.

Thanks Curlly - I had them in my diary as today, but I've now put 'by' 30th.

For goodness sake, at this stage they must know unless they're waiting to make some gigantic announcement that hasn't been completed yet.

I e-mailed the company this morning saying that they must know when the results will be announced, but they've simply said the date will be announced shortly.

At least they answered quickly, even if they didn't provide a date.
