09/4/2009 09:09 | Or just keep the same target. full stop. Once the time has passed they can propose a new target,in the meantime they can draw their considerable salaries and their already generous share bonuses. I wonder what would happen if someone popped up in a years time with an offer pitched at say 450p a share? Directors would not approve but the battered shareholders probably would. | robsy2
03/4/2009 18:40 | Milacs, to me a more meaningful way would be to keep the same target of £15- and simply push the achievement date out 2 years to 2012. | mdj8
03/4/2009 17:54 | Nice to see a bit of upward movement today - for a change! | rat attack
03/4/2009 17:46 | fair point milacs | sleveen
03/4/2009 17:41 | MDJ8 The £15 incentive scheme terminates in 2010. Realistically management have no chance of cashing in. I simply suggested that since our Directors are doing such a fantastic job a more meaningful scheme should be put into play. I am confident our management have not overlooked this anomaly and will modify the scheme as soon as they are able. M | milacs
03/4/2009 17:25 | Darn tempted to buy a few more of these, quite a few of my indebted smaller co recovery stocks are up nicely on the day eg TTG, BOY, XPP UMC :-) Edit BOY aren't indebted but share price up all the same | sleveen
02/4/2009 16:47 | Milacs, what exactly has changed to justify a watering down of the incentive scheme share price target to £5- from £15-? Still the same opportunities out there. £5- would not be a stretch and is the level where many funds bought in - I really doubt they'd wear it. | mdj8
02/4/2009 15:45 | Nice one. I'm gonna mortgage the house and get me some of that booty too. | soupsatchel
02/4/2009 15:11 | Wonder if the company have any plans to modify the incentive plan. Perhaps, if the share price reaches 500p at any time up to and including the 1st April 2015 Directors will receive a £50 million bonus paid out in shares. Seems logical to me. M | milacs
02/4/2009 15:06 | I am expecting a rapid rise in the share price. In this way the Directors will reach their target and activate the 2007 incentive plan. M | milacs
02/4/2009 12:00 | Maybe time for a bounce here IMO, big sellers UBS and Fortis now below 3% plus shorters to squeeze. The market seems in a good mood too, just my thoughts. | soupsatchel
02/4/2009 05:52 | evil started shorting on march 16th at £1.90,amount not disclosed. | painty boy
01/4/2009 23:33 | bullish hammer now on the candles chart. | yf23_1
01/4/2009 22:52 | sleveen - I am not a lawyer, but it is standard practice to put in a Ramalpa clause in such instances. | rat attack
01/4/2009 19:18 | I would think that reservation of title is bog standard contract terms ..... any lawyers on here? PS nice recovery at the end | sleveen
01/4/2009 19:15 | If there is concern over Air Canada's finances, it is to be hoped the sale of stock was subject to reservation of title | ianguerin
01/4/2009 15:42 | Well that wasn't much help then. I don't understand why people comment if they don't have a fact based opinion or their comments add absolutely no value to the discussion. Come on PhatProfit whats the rationale behind your advice not to buy.....or do your comments have all the weight of a PhatPhart... | mdj8
01/4/2009 15:21 | Actually I did post this information on another thread (think it might have been RCG) where another poster that I know had mentioned buying into AI. Don't know how many shares EK has shorted but he nearly always deals in big numbers and not small punts. This has been on my watchlist for awhile but I'm waiting to see the trend change (and shorters close) before considering a buy here. | masurenguy
01/4/2009 15:13 | Masurenguy - just a quick question or two - did you post here when you first knew EK was shorting? To what extent is he shorting? How do you know he is making a killing and didn't just short 10000 shares? | mdj8
01/4/2009 14:59 | "* Byrnece Turner, spouse of Frank Turner, purchased 16,800 Ordinary Shares of 1.25p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"); * Julian Mark Turner, adult son of Frank Turner, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 5,600 Ordinary Shares; and * Dr. Suzanne N Faithfull, adult daughter of Frank Turner, purchased 5,600 Ordinary Shares" LOL - 28,000 shares at a cost of £49,000 between 3 of them - they didn't really need to remortgage their houses to do that did they ! EK has been shorting this from 220p - looks like he's made a killing too ! | masurenguy
01/4/2009 13:47 | Steady yourselves, the sun will rise again and there is nothing to fear but fear itself.....let's remind ourselves of the facts, one of which was that two weeks ago: Aero Inventory plc ("the Company") has been informed that, on 17 March 2009: * Byrnece Turner, spouse of Frank Turner, purchased 16,800 Ordinary Shares of 1.25p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"); * Julian Mark Turner, adult son of Frank Turner, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 5,600 Ordinary Shares; and * Dr. Suzanne N Faithfull, adult daughter of Frank Turner, purchased 5,600 Ordinary Shares. All the purchases were at a price of 175 pence per share. As a result of these purchases, Mr Turner has direct and beneficial interests in 653,846 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.25% of the issued share capital of the Company. Another fact is that there is a persistent seller who has stopped notifying (but presumably still selling ) now that the holding has gone sub 3% | ydderf
01/4/2009 13:36 | Canadian govt will not let Air Canada fail!! | rat attack
01/4/2009 12:42 | Thats a fair point JR. We had no exposure there until the stock was swapped for the bills... | mdj8 |
