18/5/2009 11:47 | bones30 I did not realise that spouses purchases were more meaningful. I think I can understand the rational. Weeks in dog house, intimate relationships terminated etc etc... However can you point me to a link which supports such a theory. M | milacs
18/5/2009 11:41 | Director's spouse buying shares. Very bullish. Reminds me of Bowleven. | bones30

15/5/2009 18:32 | AERO INVENTORY PLC RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT AND INTERIM MANAGEMENT REPORT FOR THE HALF YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2008 Aero Inventory plc ("Aero Inventory", or the "Company" or "Group"), the provider of e-based procurement and inventory management solutions to the aerospace industry, today announces its results for the six months ended 31 December 2008. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SIX MONTHS Revenue of US$256.1 million, an increase of 55% over the corresponding period (2007: US$165.1 million), reflecting in particular a full six-month contribution from our contract with Aveos (formerly ACTS). Pre-tax profits of US$33.1 million, an increase of 46% over the corresponding period (2007: US$22.7 million). Fully diluted EPS of 46.9 cents per share, an increase of 47% over the corresponding period (2007: 31.9 cents per share). Translated into sterling at the current exchange rate the diluted earnings per share amounted to approximately 34 pence per share. Interim dividend maintained at last year's level of 6.0 pence per share. Decision taken to withdraw from contract negotiations with the major airline referred to in our 10th February announcement as satisfactory commercial terms could not be agreed. In the absence of this major piece of new business, the Board has determined to focus in the near term on cash generation and improved operational efficiency. | adieadie
15/5/2009 10:18 | Market Cap today £91.16m, Profit for this year estimated to be £40.32m, yielding 12.2%, gearing 56.96% (problem). Share price was 700p just over a year ago. I know nothing about this sector, but I like the look of the charts. I havent invested yet, but looks like it would fly on any good news. | bottompicker
15/5/2009 10:09 | Livic1971 I think you exaggerate when you say AI is in danger of losing half its business plus 100 mil. They are dealing with Aveos in Canada which is I understand now split off from Air Canada. No doubt much of their business is with Air Canada but as an independant they now have other customers. In addition if you read the AR you will see the majority of our business is in the Far East. M | milacs
15/5/2009 00:55 | I don't think the lost potential customer is the issue. The problem from what I can tell is much of its business is via Air Canada who might go bankrupt. On top of that they gave Air Canada 100 mil of parts for some paper which if bankruptcy eventuates might turn out not to be worth much. Market is probably pricing in AI losing half its business plus 100 mil. Its certainly a lot of uncertainty that would hold share price back. | livic1971
06/5/2009 14:40 | Struggling when the whole market is rising. More likely bad news to come.. | woracle
06/5/2009 09:59 | Came on board today..Looks like all the bad news is in the price. | koolio
06/5/2009 00:30 | has hit potential resistance, if it breaks double top then......., if not test of lows all to play for......... | thepinkpanther
06/5/2009 00:03 | they have lost a major customer... in the poop | adieadie
03/5/2009 14:13 | ratty like i said - each to his own . | juju43
03/5/2009 13:42 | juju43 - what you cite as your reasons are strictly incorrect. At this moment in time the Company does not have any funding problems, nor has it lost any of its existing business. There is also no reason to suggest that flu will have any fundemental effect on the airline business as evidenced by the previous bird flu epidemic. However, all stocks do have their ups and downs! Perhaps it is this cycle you are shorting? | rat attack
03/5/2009 11:49 | Surely these are collection of misnomers which suggests a perfect time to buy. Flu just a normal seasonal issue got wrong, airlines subject to normal cyclic phenomina and lost business??? | martpow
03/5/2009 11:33 | funding problems ,lost business, flu will hit airlines which are struggling anyway , its just a bad business to be in right now . chart looks all down hill , etc.my opinion - each to their own | juju43
03/5/2009 11:12 | Which fundamentals do you refer to that suggests a short. P/E 2.2 yield 12%. Growth potential/expectatio | martpow
02/5/2009 20:48 | the fundamentals here say short so i am short . it will probably have its up spell but not now | juju43 |
