thats a very polite way of describing the BoD which, although changed, still contains the same main characters.

'Should know by a few weeks at most.'

That is exactly what we were all saying two years ago.

Then AVO came clean and admitted that they were way behind their published targets that they had been insisting until then that they were on track to meet.

I hope we are not in that situation again but I am waiting until we know for certain that they really are on track this time before I put any more money into AVO.

The technology might be good but the BoD are another matter.

Looks like a few nervy peeps (yesterday) ahead of the "treatment"/trial announcement due by/around end of the month.

If it's positive they will be on cloud 9 and this will rocket at open. If negative in anyway, it will be seen as a bit of a set back, even if just a minor "miss" for now.

But I'm guessing they already understood enough about the tech/kit/challenge to know they could achieve it.

Should know by a few weeks at most.

All looks set in place to me for the announcement we thoroughly expect regarding the milestone by the end of Sept.

BIG 300K sale. Wonder who/why. Almost £150k.

With new directors, with the Far East connections, thought now would be good time for going in.

AVO spread much smaller today.

Also AVO RNS re Hardman Research has a link to the research note. Hardman also do in-depth reports on a Burford Capital. Very good.

Report suggests AVO sales in 2020

So, as we approach September and the news we all await, it’s going to be a time to either prove the doubters correct or the loyal supporters correct. Very exciting month in AVO’s time span. GLA.

Again proving why we NEED this here. AVO are a big part of the answer. Absolutely convinced it’s the next big thing.

"There are currently no high energy Proton Beam Therapy centres in the UK and fitting out the hospital will involve installing 600 tonnes of equipment."

I see they have significant challenges ahead, not least installation and testing. At this rate AVO may have the FIRST operating and completed facility in the UK....all done at a fraction of the cost and within a house in Harley Street! This has the makings of a great story and outcome.

Daijavu I know it was tough for you and all investors me included. However I have been an investor for over 4 years I always researched thoroughly and did so when I first set out investing in AVO. I also expect ups and downs in early stage AIM companies that is a fact of life unfortunately.

What attracted me then and now was the technology, CERN & the professionals working with AVO who are at the top of their profession, I believed and still do that this is disruptive technology except now it is somewhat de risked. Because I had researched so much and did not rely on negative posters I was a buyer. I will be eternally grateful to TW who obviously had some sort of grudge with the company and as a resulted I loaded up big time, for me it was the perfect opportunity, for others they did very well indeed shorting the stock..I was a buyer.

The story has not changed, the technology has developed significantly further, yes they made mistakes, errors of judgement were made but the fundamentals remain and people with a lot more money than me also now have confidence in the company. GLA DYOR

makeamillion. It was the same two years ago with the same world renowned experts and money people on board, The only thing that has changed is the involvement of the Scandanovian group. The background to everything was the same as today but it didn't stop AVO making fools of people like us.

We were attracted to AVO by exactly the same story as has attracted you now. We all felt the same about AVO as you feel now. Then the truth came out that LIGHT was and we all lost a lot of money. Some lost a lot more than I did because I got out with my cash almost intact. I lost the profits I had expected plus a bit more.

I don't take being treated like that kindly so I make a point of making people aware of what happened.

Hi Paul I believe this is a high possibility the shares are trading in a very narrow range and move on little buying volume. Also the company will want to ensure those in the funding round last week are rewarded quickly IMO.

The next news in particular the treating of superficial tumors will be the biggest news to date and repeatedly the BOD have said all is on track (last time last week). Like many I expect not just a significant move in the share price but also potentially more news on licencing, manufacturing update, plus potential order inquiries, maybe wishful thinking but at this stage we are told everything is de-risked just a question of engineering and putting it all together! I understand your frustration it is a different company today with world renowned experts as part of the board and company. Some of the best and wealthiest major investors on board....sometimes it is a good idea to follow the money. There is a lot of news flow expected by the end of next month! If I were you I would keep both eyes open!

Don't worry about me makeamillion. I'm doing quite well elsewhere.

Ironically, it is partly due to the salutary lessons that the AVO BoD taught me that I am doing so well now.

One lesso I learned from AVO is that if you write to the CEO and do not get a reply from him but get a less than satisfactory response from their agent instead, just sell up and walk away.

The CEOs of well run companies make sure that their pi's get the information they have asked for or a clear and justifiable reason why they cannot answer the question. AVO does not do that. I and many other pis lost a lot of money because AVO never answered questions properly. Especially when it came to the development of LIGHT.

AVO kept saying they were on track even though they were way behind. They announced new contracts to great fanfares but never told anybody when they lost them.

It is a mark of their attitude to ordinary shareholders that all those past reports, presentations and contracts have been expunged from the record as if they had never existed. They were asked about them by several pis at the time but none of us ever got a proper reply.

Everything I currently see from AVO is merely a repeat of past events. That includes the Chinese contracts, the Asian agents and even the cash received from China. It is all a repeat. Every one of those contracts was cancelled, the agents walked away, the staff walked away, the new Chinese directors vanished and the money had to be paid back. All the information about those events has been expunged.

My personal experience of AVO makes it difficult for me to take AVO seriously or believe anything they say.

Nevertheless, I keep an eye on them just in case.

Oh dear Daijavu I guess you must have been burned badly in the past. I am sorry for your loss for me this is my best stock in 10 years and doing very nicely. IMO a great deal more to come. I hope you find some other share to bring you hope.
