Well said Baner. I think ‘they’ will be very sheepish from now on. All well on track and the huge potential will now be reached I’m sure.

Excellent news re the ”missing millions” today. The chinese have now invested £30m in AVO - before the proton system is even completed. This confirm they have made a very indepth due diligence and clearly see a huge potential for AVO systems in the Far East. So funding is secured, the tech reports are indeed bullish - time for the bears to go for a long sleep...........congratulations to those who have supported the company in its development of this life-saving technique, and shame on those ”contributors” to this site who have lent them selves to attempts to talk this important company down.

You should read the technology description on AVO's website. Their proton beam system is modular which means that additional accelerator units increase the power of the beam. Testing (and certification) is therefore an iterative process which explains why they are proceeding in stages (the certification and licensing process cannot be underestimated - you are dealing with a powerful radiation generator here, so each time you increase its power the certification issues will be ever more onerous).

With much of the technological development now de-risked, the Company is on target to have a system capable of treating superficial tumours by the end of Q3 2018.

what does this sentence actually mean? presumably not that they will have a machine ready or they would have said so.

Avos is able to do the same, the difference between the two is that Avos is cheaper in cost to make and smaller in size to store.

I expect the London site refers to the second big NHS one (after Manchester) that will be treating patients free from 2020, and proper high energy units which can treat deep tumours. (Unlike AVO's Harley St site)

A very positive technological update this morning. More de-risking and another confident statement of being on target. Absolutely great IMO.
