baner,

The point I was making is he is just as capable of making a bad investment decision as the next man or woman, and gave you an example where he lost.

When are they going to announce the completion of the Chinese transaction, do you know?

Patience is a virtue. There are good gains to be had here IMO. Long term.

If Gillenhammer started with nothing - which is what i have read in a recently published book where he is one of the investors presented - and he has £150m+ plus today - he must have done pretty well in total. nighthawk was a sour grape clearly but we all make mistakes - however i suppose you consider yourself to be the glorious exception? To have such a strong investor onboard at AVO gives at least me great comfort. This stock surely has a chance of adding significantly to my, and Gillenhammer´s, net worth!! I suggest you join the party and maybe one day you will be a £150m net worth individual yourself!i am sure it is rather fun.

Sweet Karolina.

I would have thought that if the electrical supply to the building was a problem that it would have been Howard de Walden placing the advert since they own the building and are doing all the adaptations to it.

Paul,

The BTTF bit was intended to raise a smile, but the first bit asks a serious question.

Oh dear Paul! Most companies just call an electrician. But AVO need and electrical building services engineer to provide an innovative solution. Sounds like the mains electricity in Harley St is not going to supply anywhere near what they need and they really have not worked out how they are going to overcome that problem - running diesel generators in the middle of London clearly is not going to fly.

Are they praying someone is going to come along with a Back to the Future style Mr Fusion that runs on flat beer and old banana skins?

Proton Partners treat first patient:

Years ahead of AVO:

A Woodford spokesperson said: 'When Proton Partners launched, it set a goal of having a network of its unique cancer centres within 90 minutes of three-quarters of the UK’s population by 2023.

'The announcement that it has started to treat its first patient with proton beam therapy in its Newport Centre just over three years later is a hugely significant milestone and step in reaching that goal – and is a testament to its management team and staff.'

37.5p bid quite strong and somebody sells 45k for 35p, amazing how much money is lost daily to market makers by not splitting trades and getting a much higher price.

baner,

Tt depends what he started off with surely?

If he inherited £500 million, say, then he wouldn't look such a great investor, would he?

Think a big overhang has been cleared.

All of a sudden stock hard to buy, lots of small buys having to pay premiums.

Lets see how far it bounces

Even more impressive that he has accumulated a £150m+ net worth........how do you do that unless, bottom line, you are a good investor? We all make mistakes but if you end up with £150m+ in the bank, it seems to me the guy has made more good deals than bad ones? It does not require you to be a math genius to figure that one out, does it?

baner,

He invested in HAWK, check out a 4 year chart!

It depends how he accumulated his wealth as to how good an investor he is.

i have seen PG´s accounts (issued in Swedish but the numbers are "international".....) and he has a net worth of at least £150m - so if that is what establish a "complete buffoon", i would certainly love to be one!!

Great technology with great provenance.

However, bear in mind that the last time AVO took money from China, in 2016, they had to pay every penny back after the seven Chinese contracts they had were all cancelled by the Chinese after it became obvious that AVO's plans were not on track, despite AVO's continual assurances that they were on track to treat the first patient in Harley Street by the end of 2017.

I am keeping an eye on AVO but I will not be buying any shares until I am satisfied that everything really is on track this time and shareholder's money is safe.

For me a great opportunity to top up, I guess so does Peter Gyllenhammar as he has now gone over 3%. IMO it pays to follow the money and with the current pool of investors whatever the future holds all is on track. Reading between the lines of the distribution agreement news we should have extremely good news very soon! Just loving this investment.

Where is the TR1 from Yantai? They supposedly hold about 30% of the shares. Could it be that the shares have been issued to and are held in an Escrow account until Yantai cough up?

Given the company's past performance on misleading the market over what is really going on in China, there is a very real possibility it has all fallen apart.

What happened to the Blackfinch loan repayment - due on 31 Mar? Surely if they had Yantai's money this would have been repaid.

No wonder the share price is tanking.

the £13.5m are in box today, so no risk of funds having to be sent back. the issue is really when the next £16.5m will land on AVO´s account. following this hopeful event, it is from now on only too obvious that the AVO Board needs to keep their chinese "friends" on strict diet when it comes to spending AVO´s financial resources. ideally the shares will rise towards the 100p they no doubt should be worth assuming the technical issues are under control, and then AVO can dilute the Chinese influence by placing shares with some credible institutions/strategic investors in Europe.

Sounds just like the last time they did a Chinese deal - all fell apart when the time came for wonga to be paid. And they repaid the Chinese.
May well be caused by delays - Chinese needing to see more progress before they send funds.
