I'm glad they emerged from suspension without waiting for an announcement of contract signing. That means investors can buy in on hope or sell on fear, and take their chances in the market.

"we reiterate our BUY stance with a raised target price of 60p (vs. 40p)."

"In summary, with Afentra shares trading on a P/NAV of 0.4x and an EV/EBITDA of 1.7x (FY24), we see significant upside at present levels - with the promise of further value steps to come."

Aren't the acquisitions nearly paid off ( ie the debt) by the oil production accrued since the deals effective dates? The smallest acquisition just brought in $26 million in sale of 300k barrels

You have to factor in the debt

What's the fair valuation here today? imo must be worth minimum GBP 120 million , that is 50p.
"Net 2P reserves of approx. 33 mmbbls(1,3) and net 2C resources of approx. 20 mmbbls(1,3,4)

I have added a reasonable number this morning around 28p. The seller that was there before the suspension is obviously still active.

The market will wake up to this soon. Anything below 40p here is a steal especially considering the effective dates of these deals.

Been a slow mover to date. Holding tight but would be pleased for it to trade over 30 today

Whilst I want trading to resume ASAP, I'm not sure it's a good thing to over promise when the pen is actually not in your hand.

Given the delays to the first license approvals, I fully accept Paul cannot give definitive date.

Just like before they will be benefitting from accrued crude inventory again during any delays.

All good things come to those who wait.

Happy to let these guys make my money work.

Q4 starts in 3 weeks. There's a lot to be done considering Q4 includes Christmas. They have to sign the contracts and call the EGM to ratify the deals, because they are big enough to need shareholder vote. (Then do they have to take it to Court for sanction? I hope not. Just asking.)

The careful punctuation in the RNS makes me think shareholder approval is not necessarily in Q4, just contracts signed.

I was looking for something like "confident of approval of Sonangol (etc.) before the end of the current quarter". I hope the contracts will be signed in November, so the formalities of ratification can be done in Q4. I really don't want this still not trading in January.
