How annoying as I tried to buy earlier but couldn’t deal

The share price is now running away. One to watch in 2024.

This is looking great now, with a healthy oil price margin.

Can't see many negatives, other than the usual oil price variability as we potentially hit a recession, but with Yemen threatening the supply route for oil the west of Africa looks like a great alternative and should keep oil prices firm.

Share Message - Angola leaves Opec oil cartel in output quota row

Yes i agree this is positive. I suspect Angola was getting hit with a reduced quota based in historic failings around production rates. Hopefully means that the government is now fully incentivised to drive up production.

Apologies if posted alteady but i only just realised Lourenco met with Biden at the White House earlier this week to discuss closer economic, energy, infrastructure and security ties between Angola and the US. First Angolan president at the White House since 2014. Country risk (was) the only bear case here for me so maybe this is also a factor in the re-rate.

Expect the last of the weak holders to be exiting now. They've not understood the recent news and are being replaced by those who do.

Yep and some will remember I mentioned here last week ... OneDayRodders - 13 Dec 2023 - 15:58:55 - 960 of 984

That it wouldn't be long before another GEO political event of some sort suddenly appears to turn the oil price around ... and as if by magic .... "Voila"

"Fears of higher oil prices after Red Sea attacks"

IMHO There is without a doubt a 'dark pool' controlling everything, we are just mere pawns in this game of life and survival ... it will never be exposed, so all we can do is try and profit by it.

Apologies for getting all 'heavy', and I'll drop the conspiracy theories now it seems I was vindicated !

Back to Afentra from here and their quality management who are looking after our money so well.

Couldn't be more pleased with progress.

With a maximum £20k Annual Allowance....how does one transfer £180k worth into an ISA....in one hit?
