30/7/2005 12:39 | Mark, Good point and makes sence. | hamilton
29/7/2005 22:10 | Hamilton, They exercised their warrants at 5p because that is the price they are exercisable at. The exercise price is not affected by the share price. As to why they should choose to exercise them when they could buy shares more cheaply in the market, my guess is that development cash was needed for the ADDleisure businesses, and this was a more attractive option than diluting their holdings via a placing. There is no doubt they paid 5p for each new share, so they definitely will not be selling into the market. | mark c graham
29/7/2005 20:07 | How can they excercise their warrants at 5p when the share price is 2.75p ? Do you mean that they have been granted warrants at 5p... err no I get it, they have traded in their existing warrants for share options at 5p ? Wish I could do that with my warrants.....errr no Just read the RNS and can someone explain why anyone would excercise warrants ar 5p when the share price was only 2.5p ? If they expect a rise in SP, why not wait ? I bet they wish they had... Were the warrants due to expire ? I get it... they issued themselves the warrants. They have excercised a few million each to provide funding. Afterall they have effectively bought shares at 2.5p, expecting this to start a rise in share price They will now sell them off into the rise....lol or maybe they have bought now to offset the potential capital gain when they sell more ? i.e they expect a big rise ? | hamilton
29/7/2005 17:09 | RTI plus the three founding directors own 81.55% of the stock between them. Since they all exercised warrants at 5p per share the other day, they are hardly likely to be selling now at 2.75p per share. There are no other big holders, so it's hard to see how there could be a big seller. | mark c graham
29/7/2005 16:36 | BTW Caveat emptor is Latin for "let the buyer beware". | hamilton
29/7/2005 16:30 | Hi Cat, seems strange, no sells going through and the price dropping from the 19% increase for the day, anyone got L2 or any ideas? Wait see what goes through after the bell | gazza5
29/7/2005 16:29 | Topped up with another 50k at 3p. It's interesting that the price has fallen back when most of the trades reported so far have been buys. I would be inclined to think that there was an unreported seller out there, but they don't appear to have much stock to sell you. | lord buffett
29/7/2005 15:39 | Chow to ya Gazza5 - Hmmm ,this is interesting - hope you're feeling a trifle less lonely over on here now - Cheers, The Cat | dibblecat
29/7/2005 15:09 | Welcome aboard Lord ! ps this is not being ramped look at the RNS, that is the only reason I invested in this. We dont want spikes just a casual ride upwards will be fine. I only mentioned this on one other thread ECK as it may have been of interest to some people. ps I dont see marbles here as yet and hope not to. | gazza5
29/7/2005 14:42 | Just bought 250k @ 3.13p, as the company looks very cheap at £3m market cap - not to mention directors confidence in it. I always like to see directors investing significant amounts of money in their own company - especially at a higher price than me, albeit for obvious reasons. | lord buffett
