tiptornado - I wonder if your friend has been using a Fitvibe or VibroGym, or one of many, many other similar products.

FWIW, you may be interested to know that the rival Fitvibe has been selected by Man Utd as it has MDD certification.

Perhaps, you'd like to get a vibrating plate yourself. They are available for as little as £200 here and significantly less in Europe from a couple of hundred Euros, so a Power Plate would seem rather extravagant for a home user at circa £3000 upwards, IMHO....

I only did a search again because I have a mate who had a motorcycle accident a few years ago.
Saw him last night and he was telling me about his rehabilitation is going etc etc...
The right out of the blue, he turns around and says... They got me on this vibration machine now.....
WHAT???? Is it called Powerplate??? I think so he said, something like that.. I will have a look for you next week...

There we go... This mate of mine has no interest in shares. Had never ever heard me mention powerplate before. Because of an accident he is still in pain etc etc, and there he is, now being put on a powerplate....

Thanks to the revolutionary Power Plate - a new exercise phenomenon based on vibrational therapy - spending hours at the gym may just become a thing of the past...

There's good news for those of you who want to get super-fit but don't fancy spending hours pounding a treadmill. Power Plate, the hottest new exercise phenomenon that has taken Europe and the States by storm, has just hit our shores and is being snapped up by top athletes and body-conscious celebrities. The Power Plate machine works by vigorously vibrating your whole body and manages to condense a one-hour workout into 12 minutes. Famous devotees include the likes of Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, Ivana Trump, olympic gold medallist Matthew Pinsent, presenter Gabby Logan, Jonathon Ross and footballer Les Ferdinand.

Based on the concept of vibrational therapy, Power Plate exercises muscles without putting any strain on the joints. The Power Plate machine produces a vibration (4,000 times a minute) through which energy is transferred to the body. This mechanical stimulus produces a stretch reflex which, depending on the selected frequency, can vary from 30 to 60 times per second and results in rapid muscle contraction.

Exercise makes the body tired, rest allows it to recover and, by repeating this process, the body adjusts to the effort, resulting in an increase in physical performance. This is the effect that occurs when training on the Power Plate. However, the big difference is that the length of training time is much shorter, the effect is greater and hormone production is increased, which is vital for the body to repair and regenerate.

The concept of using vibrational therapy was originally developed by Russian scientists to help prevent deterioration in bone density in their astronauts caused by the weightless atmosphere of space. They found standing on a vibrating platform helped stimulate muscle and bone development.

Since then, studies have shown that using vibration training can increase muscle strength by 20 to 30 per cent more than with conventional power training. Also, unlike conventional training, the stress on joints, ligaments and tendons is minimal because of the shorter duration time and the lack al weight-bearing placed on the joints.

'My trainer couldn't believe how my fitness performance level had improved through using Power Plate,' says TV presenter Gabby Logan. According to celebrity fitness trainer Kevin Barclay-Webb, 'in a 12-minute workout you can effectively train every muscle'

How Power Plate can help the body
It increases flexibility and mobility
It improves blood circulation
It strengthens bone tissue
It helps reduce pain
It produces stronger, more efficient muscles
It increases production of the hormone serotonin, also called the 'happiness hormone', a substance that supports our thinking process
As well as increasing fitness levels and improving body tone, using the Power Plate on a regular basis has other beneficial 'knock-on' effects. Firstly. increasing muscle mass with resistance training in this way should speed up your metabolism, which means you will lose weight faster. In addition, Using the machine at least three times a week will help stimulate the lymph glands, which improves circulation of the blood and can help reduce and smooth out the appearance of cellulite.

Tests have shown that there is considerably more fat reduction in people who train for ten minutes three times a week on the Power Plate than those who do aerobics for one hour, three times a week. Power Plate sessions have also proved to be an effective form of exercise for all ages ranging from children through to senior citizens, as the stress on the body is greatly reduced, compared to conventional fitness training.

It' also ideal for people wanting to regain their fitness after an injury or illness. Medical research has shown the benefits of Power Plate for those recuperating from a wide range of physical disabilities. It is currently being used at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and at the ASPIRE gym, which specializes in spinal injuries. Studies looking at the benefits of using Power Plate on patients with multiple sclerosis, myalgic encephalitis (ME), fibromyalgia, arthritis and People suffering front repetitive strain injury (RSI) have shown very positive results.

Celebrity fitness trainer Kevin Barclay-Webb, who is helping to launch Power Plate in the UK says: 'I'm always discovering new techniques for fitness training and Power Plate looks set to revolutionize the way we exercise in a 12-minute workout, you can effectively train every muscle.'

'Also, very importantly because of the minimal strain it places on the body,' says Kevin, who has trained stars such as Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley and Eurythmics star Annie Lennox, 'it's ideal for people with certain disabilities and can he a very effective ally in patient rehabilitation.'

Power Plate has recently opened its first centre in Glasgow and is available at a growing number of gyms, including The Harbour Club, Chelsea, and London's Third Space and Next Generation gyms. For your nearest gym and more details call 020 8450 8777 or visit www.power-plate.com.

Dell,

I do not believe in continuing this argument. You continually and conviently overlook factual arguments but the best fact that you can muster all day is that someone has sold a few thousand of these shares! Now that is laughable.

I still fail to see any link or credible shred of evidence why the company needed funds to sign off accounts. Have you seen this in the press or spoken to their board or their accountants. Have you endeavoured to back up this supposition with real evidence??? If you have, where is your evidence? Back up your arguments WITH FACT otherwise it has no place and can only be construed as deramping. We all await your research with interest.

All stocks come with a risk warning. I took financial advice from my broker prior to purchasing some of these. AIM stocks in particular are speculative. Companies that are just devloping in particular are risky. Therefore this is a highly speculative, high risk stock. It is also high reward. This has often been stated on many occassions.

I note that you are very much against AIM stocks at the moment and I have seen you 'policing' other boards trying to counteract people who have invested in companies and post research to encourage other people to purchase shares. You would call this 'ramping'. I would call this knowledge share. If links are not published or the information is not substanitated with quotes then I would call it a ramp. Similarly where the negative information is unsubstaniated, I would say this is a deramp. At the moment you belong to the camp of the latter.

People have done considerable research into this company and the products it is currently marketing. This provides people doing research a basis on which they can investigate. I see nothing wrong in this at all. You have turned this into a personal issue and crusade but unfortunately you are not providing any real counter arguments. You are now reduced to the level whereby you laugh and think it funny when the price drops. That for me shows how immature you are (laughing at others misfortunes is low life) and serves to show how low you will stoop to rile people.

I for one will not be listening to your serial deramps again, unless of course you do decide to provide the links to substaniate your posts.

G,

A bit cheeky of me to ask, but would it be ok for you to post your last email from ADE?
Just that I am sure a lot of people would find it re-assuring to see.

In the meantime, Directors are not holding back in the slightest about telling us investors just how confident they are regards ADE.

We know its a volatile stock, we know there are only 20 Million shares on the free market.

We know sells can send the price down, we also know buys can move it up massively.
We know when the results are due.
For the sake of waiting a month, and taking on board the Directors show of confidence, In My Opinion, I rate this a screaming buy.
Of course I urge people to do their own research, and a good start would be the addleisure website.
www.addleisure.co.uk
Also worth doing a google search on "powerplate" and "ezbook".
Also worth giving the company a telephone call.
After that, it is of course your choice whether to invest or not.
What I can say with 100% confidence, is that if we are led to believe from the Directors that the results are good, then this stock will move massively.
I do not mean 50% etc, I mean massive,,
A couple of months ago we saw demand for this stock which resulted in trades (Buys and sells) totalling 2M shares, the result was a 66% increase in share price
Earlier in the week we saw total trades in the region of 600,000, and the share price increased over 25%.

It is worth remembering, and remembering well, that the share price is underpinned by 1/2M £ invested by Directors at "5p" only a couple of months ago.

You have to be in it to win it.

ADDleisure Plc ('ADDleisure' or 'the Company'), a holding company formed to capitalise on new opportunities in the leisure, health and fitness sectors, is pleased to report progress in the development of the three investments in its portfolio.

Retail sales of both the personal (home-use) and commercial units are ahead of management's expectations following a successful PR campaign earlier in the year.

The Directors are confident about the prospects for Power Plate and expects continued sales growth in the UK and internationally.

Fitbug is continuing in discussions with potential strategic partners from the fitness and healthcare sectors with the objective of accelerating the market penetration of the product.

The Company is pleased to note that in recent weeks significant progress has been made both in terms of development and marketing.

Importantly, Fitbug has formed an alliance with Premier Training International ('Premier'), the UK's leading fitness professional training provider. Premier, which operates in 22 UK training venues, will educate all its students on the benefits of employing Fitbug as part of their personal training qualification, which will provide a significant distribution and marketing network.

The Directors are encouraged by the level of interest and the developing deal pipeline. Recent licensing deals have been concluded with a number of spa operators including Champney's Citypoint and Serve Health & Beauty Ltd, which operates under the re-aqua brand, whilst Ez-Book is being trialled by Hollywood Bowl at four sites with a view to roll-out across its estate. Digital is in negotiations with a number of other leisure operators and hopes to announce further deals soon.

"There has been a fundamental shift towards a more positive attitude to health and fitness throughout society as a whole, resulting in more opportunities in the leisure sector. I am delighted that our three investments are all generating significant interest as people strive towards achieving a healthier lifestyle.

"To emphasise our commitment and confidence in the Company, the Directors are exercising part of their holding of warrants. We are busy securing further business for all our investments and believe that our investments have the products and personnel to be successful."

Anyway, here's another "assumption" for you:

I reckon someone's just dumped a biggie as the offer's dropped and I just checked an online quote and the sell limit has dropped to only 15k.

Of course, I reiterate that this is just an assumption based on available evidence, so you may choose to hold an alternate theory...

This one is going one way only and thats up if dell cant see that then its his own stupid fault. In fact ive never seen dell like any share, he is a negative loser who has nothing better to do with his lonely life than to deramp good companies. He must be so hated by the directors of these companies whi through hard work are trying to build a sucessful business who need shareholders like us to support the share price.

Assumptions assumptions.... And totally incorrect I may add.

Our share club actually has a website.
We have a waiting list of about 6 or 7 people wanting to join.

The website is open to allcomers, but only the financials are password protected.

Will I give it to you? NO.

Trouble is, your assumptions hold no credibility, just as your opinions do not either.

You are prepared to put time into writing "your opinion" posts all the time, why do you nopt telephone them and speak to them?

davew - Where were you when tiptornado was regularly spamming iii and ADVFN with total lies about this company??

Oh, you just sat back and enjoyed the stock promotion didn't you?

Surely you were aware that all those posts by tiptornado about Liberation Fitness selling power plate in 20 to 30 countries was total rubbish just invented to ramp the share. What about his story on iii about his "share club"? I have to say that it was one of the funniest things I've read in ages but it clearly shows the lengths that this individual will go to....

How strange that you don't seem at all concerned about those kind of posts.
Perhaps, you should direct your "hypocrite detector" in your own direction.

You only take issue with me because I challenge the hype that gets posted here.

I posted about why I think it's likely that the recent cash was raised to enable auditor sign off, in more detail previously.

Thanks Davew,

Put so well.

FYI, had an email from Ben yesterday, which again stated just how confident they were, and he also said..... "If any news regards ezbook warrants an RNS regards contracts then it will be released as soon as".
It depends what your take is on the company, but i read it between the lines, and am more than 50/50 in respect of us getting a statement before results.

The above is of course only my opinion, at reading between the lines of the mail.

Dell,

People have posted reams of research on here relevant to ADE. You come on slating these people as rampers and yet you state in post 371

"As you know, I'm reasonably convinced that the recent cash injection was because the company needed it to get signed off as a going concern "

You are a hypocrite Dell, calling people for so called "ramping", when the vast majority is actual fact backed up by links and credible data. Then you come on and post that you are reasonably convinced about something. Have you any links or facts that you can back up your wild statements?

A hypocrite for your information is "someone guilty of simulation of virtue", a precise description of your comments I would argue.

In short PUT UP OR SHUT UP.

Well said Memoryman.
I notice that Dell states yet again "In his opinion" the funds were raised to plug holes in the accounts, yet put in such a way as to read as factual.

Dell is WRONG WRONG WRONG.
A quick telephone call to ADE will tell anyone who is either in, or considering getting in will find out.
It annoys me when derampers make these "in my opinion" statements, yet have absolutely NOTHING to back it up.
Whereas we.... have RNS statements, Company news, and telephone and emails with the Directors.
Yesterday it put on over 25% on trades of just over 600,000 SHARES....
Once the results are out, even mediocre results will result in a rush for this stock, which will well and truly exceed 600,000. The result will be a MASSIVE PHENOMINAL RISE IN share price
But as ever, you have to be in it to win it.

oh sorry correction 3 buys 1 sell, and i would hardly call the sell important at only 10k, we now have net 80k of buys. Yes dell not huge turnover but in relation to your early morning deramp at trying to cause panic, its completely the opposite to what you stated and show you for what you really are! for the first time ever ive seen a new you. previously you have just tried to deramp using logic and finacial arguments but today you actally let your guard down and stated something that as it turned our was complete rubbish and untrue, now who is the proven liar!!! imo
