15/8/2005 14:59 | We are dealing with "Distribution rights" here silly boy. Liberation Fitness Systems Limited The Company has a 42% interest in Liberation Fitness Systems Limited ("LFS"), which markets Power Plate, a product that uses advanced vibration technology to stimulate muscular and circulatory responses. We are pleased to report recent installations by a number of UK health club operators including Cannons, David Lloyd Leisure and Holmes Place. Power Plate also continues to be sold direct to consumers by Harrods and now also by Totally Fitness. Retail sales of both the personal (home-use) and commercial units are ahead of management's expectations following a successful PR campaign earlier in the year. | tiptornado
15/8/2005 14:27 | A few testimonials for you dellboy. (hows your shares doing by the way?) Testimonials GREG ISAACS, Celebrity trainer "Vibration Technology has been so interesting to me as a new technology that I have integrated it in all my clients training programs. People just walk off this unit and feel juiced. So that's been great, especially if it's a deconditioned person. For deconditioned people they're able to become aware of different parts of their musculature. I love it. I think it's exciting and new and I throw every body one it. "Functional training" has become such a buzzword. This is the ultimate way to functional train." MICHAEL NEITZKE, GM Spectrum Club, Santa Monica, CA "There is a variety of goals that people have when they come into the club, so we are very excited with the addition of this piece of equipment and we're looking forward to adapting it to each person's workout so they can effectively realize those goals in a shorter amount of time. Vibration exercise has many benefits to a lot of different markets; people looking for advanced training techniques or elementary training techniques. What we find from some of the people of a senior nature that we're putting on the machine is that the results have been amazing. This is the next step, the next generation. I think with the right adaptation this should be used by everybody. It should be in every club, apartment building, hotel and things of that nature. This should be well accepted and widely used. " GARRETT GEIMONT, Buccaneers strength and conditioning coach "Actively we have more and more players each day come over and discover the plate. We have written it into the program so it's actually become an active part of the program. It's another tool in the tool box so we can go ahead and put the best performance on the field." DR. DONALD CHU "I have found the Power Plate to deliver the essence of plyometric training in a safe and effective manner for both training and rehabilitation. The results have been predictable and directly related to the research. Our athletes have experienced strength gains, reactivity increases and increases in range of motion." TRACE ARMSTRONG, Former Raiders Defensive End "I think this is cutting edge as far as sports science goes and I think your going to see more people take this philosophy and approach." Eric Karros, Oakland A's "As a 13-year veteran, I'm no stranger to the nagging injuries and overall physical toll that a 162-game season takes on your body, and to that point, the Power Plate has been a godsend in preventing injury and keeping me on the field," said Los Angeles Dodgers all-time home run leader and recently signed Oakland Athletics slugger, Eric Karros "Not only is it enhancing my performance capability in this latter part of my career, but it's also providing me a tool I'll use to maintain my flexibility, muscle strength and overall mobility throughout my life beyond baseball." MARK VERSTEGEN, Athletes Performance, owner "It's a very versatile piece of equipment that can enhance an athlete's performance on and off the Field. We routinely use it for a warm-up before a typical workout, as it increases blood flow and anabolic hormone release. For this same reason, it is effective as a cool-down device that aids in recovery. But on it's own, it enhances flexibility, stability and proprioception, as well as strength, speed and power. | tiptornado
15/8/2005 14:14 | tiptornado - Your show of bravado is quite entertaining but surely you must realise by now that you have been exposed again. When you are in a hole, stop digging!! Anyway, Forbes Magazine seems to believe that Power Plate USA was "acquired by Chicago Investors". Perhaps, you should contact Forbes and these "Chicago investors" to point out that you think Power Plate USA, Inc. is part of LFS.... Anyway, I thought you'd like to read the Forbes article: Quite entertaining IMHO: "Perhaps Quicker at Slimming Wallets (Extract only. Use link for full text: ) Recently acquired by Chicago investors, Power Plate USA peddles a $3,000 vibrating platform it says will, among other things, rapidly and effortlessly melt weight off people. But after questions from FORBES the outfit removed from its Web site the bulk of what it called a "preliminary report" from Germany's University of Bayreuth Institute of Sports Science............U Keep 'em coming, Davey boy..... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
15/8/2005 13:48 | O you silly silly boy..... Just who do you think the american arm of power plate distribution report to? Come on dell, i can not believe for one minute you have not spotted your silly mistakes yet still do not have the balls to admit you were and are wrong. A UK based company. LFS, subsidiary in other countries distributing on their behalf. Kind of makes sense to have distribution arms in other countries doesnt it? One of the benefits I can think of is difference in time for a start. I am not going to help you any more. You are just being really silly now. Wake up, smell the coffee, ADE is going to be HUGE. | tiptornado
15/8/2005 13:41 | Wal - Actually, I'm not expecting much, as I've often caught him lying with his previous user names and he has never admitted it, even when they were easy ones to disprove like NAVs and cash per share etc. Anyway, perhaps he can contact Power Plate USA and they can update their site by adding Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland to their list for the Liberation Fitness point of contact.... All IMHO, DYOR etc. Rgds dell | dell314
15/8/2005 13:29 | "Hopefully, that will help you understand for which territories LFS has the distribution rights....." you reckon? LOL! | wal footrot

15/8/2005 12:52 | memoeryman - 15 Aug'05 - 12:37 - 244 of 246 sealed , yes most odd, unless tip was posting some price sentitive info. who knows maybe we should be getting excited with a price rise very soon memoeryman - As the spammed "tip" post has been reproduced a couple of times in this thread already, conjecture about what it might have contained is rather bizarre unless you suffer from some extreme brain dysfunction..... Incidentally, what happened to my old pal, wowyea, after I finally managed to convince him that he didn't have a clue what he was talking about? Did he suffer some kind of memoery(sic) loss and forget his login?? Rgds dell | dell314 |
