Jailbird,

Last significant RNS implied that August could be an exciting month. Its a little disappointing not to have heard more, but experience has shown that these things frequently take longer than anticipated and that patience may be needed.
There seems to be plenty of interest in the shares this morning and I too would expect them back up above 3p and waving goodbye to 4p on the next substantive news.

On two other shares I hold, MWG and BLTG both appear to have charts that are firming nicely. Please infer absolutely no advice to buy from that observation - but I find their current positions intriguing. Aspects of the companies may interest investors here and they may be worth a little research if you don't know them and have some time.

They are both only modest holdings for me.

But again, that really isn't a rec to part with any cash!

My post was simply to point to the fact that those shares, just a modest percentage of what Gravendonck own, could be considered part of the parcel they realised as equity a little over 18 months ago. AEG benefited from the cash they invested, they remain the major holder. As such, if they wanted to dispose of more, we might reasonably have expected them to delay a holdings RNS.

On that basis I have taken it as an opportunity to add. The wisdom or folly of that decision will be evident in the coming days.

Issue of Equity - Debt to Equity Conversion



Active Energy, the London quoted renewable energy, forestry management and timber processing business, announces that it has entered into an agreement with Gravendonck Private Foundation ("Gravendonck"), its major shareholder and long-term supporter, to convert US$1.02 million of existing debt in the Company, into equity. In consideration of this agreement, Gravendonck will be issued 30,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 2.7 pence per share (the "Gravendonck Conversion" and the "Gravendonck Shares"). The Gravendonck Conversion price of 2.7 pence is based upon a 60 day VWAP calculation.
