28/11/2018 11:31 | More plants in the future? Spinks said he will take the next week to speak with everyone involved with the project locally before releasing more details to the media. The full scope of the project, including where the plant will be built, will be released soon, he said, possibly in conjunction with the provincial government. Despite just landing the timber rights necessary to build one plant, the company is already thinking ahead. "I see us building more plants in Newfoundland and Labrador," he said. | garth

28/11/2018 08:20 | Selling done? | rmart
28/11/2018 07:11 | Actually, I just found the answer to one of my questions (re shipping). We'll just have to wait for the rest. | bigboyblue
28/11/2018 06:50 | Yes, it seems a good story, but based on past experience I don't think people are convinced yet (the 8 coalswitch plants in SE Asia spring to mind!). I think we need more detail, like who's cutting the wood for us, where is it going to be processed, where will it be exported from, who are the offtake customers, and obviously who's paying for the initial set up costs etc etc. I would hope the board have the answer to these questions, after all they've had long enough to think about it and plan it all. I intend holding, but I'm not excited - yet. | bigboyblue

In August 2018, the joint venture submitted an application to the EU to request grant funding to subsidise the development of its SuperFuel(TM) technology. This application was delivered to the National Centre for Research and Development and has resulted in a number of follow-up committee meetings and requests for clarification. These requests have now been dealt with and a decision is expected during Q4 2018. The joint venture partners have now acquired various off-take agreements with a number of Polish utilities in anticipation of the delivery of the SuperFuel(TM) product. This will provide the platform for the commercial development of both CoalSwitch(TM) and SuperFuel(TM) in Europe, beginning in Poland. | rmart
