27/12/2012 10:10 | Hi Luminoso Same again today, the 5.75 transactions are buys even though the market does not want you to think that. Try it for yourselves and do a dummy buy and you will see for yourselves. | barrieb
27/12/2012 09:46 | Thanks ianous and BarrieB for confirmation. I know its possibly irrelevant in long term, but I just like to buy at what everyone else is paying, if I can, and the other day I could not ! Its the principle, dammit ! | luminoso
25/12/2012 05:06 | Placings can be good or bad, it depends on what the cash is to be used for. In this case it's good news as it will be used to expand production capacity which will increase turnover and lead to profitability. Mostly buys including a chunky 500k so the punters agree that it's good but the 5.75p price suggests to me that some of the new investors are looking for a quick 10% profit. | encarter
24/12/2012 19:37 | Luminoso I can confirm that the 5.75 transactions were indeed buys even though the bid was on the same figure but the market maker was generally being ignored. Any transactions below 5.75 were probably sells as I was testing through the morning and buying on three seperate occasions all at 5.75 or very slightly over so ignore all the red indicated sales and just look for the ones under the buying price. Now the funding is out of the way we should see a return to a more realistic market cap. with all these potential upcoming sales! | barrieb
24/12/2012 19:21 | best part of the rns today - think it was already posted but no harm in re posting it again: Project Requests (partner project requests under negotiation at identified volumes and pricing) represented a total value of in excess of EUR10 million. | euclid5
24/12/2012 14:54 | we're funded thru this coming year and stock taken up by existing & new II's. Current arrangements allow up to a further 8m shares to be issued, if needed but, that will come at a much higher price, if at all, imo. Whether the II's decide to hold or, flip for a quick %, we can not yet know but, today's revelations suggest +ve cashflow and profitability from the core business are now well within reach & the newsflow should be busy & positive thru 2013. The extra stock should help a little with liquidity and the daft spread here at times. Still only capped at £8.25m, which is around 50% of Seymour Pierce's target (16p at 98m shares) & for a company with its own unique IP that is showing excellent signs of sales across the globe and in several different sectors - I'm not convinced there will be any meaningful rush for the exits by investors for the next 12+ months on the basis of today's news - the reverse i suspect, once markets return to normal in January | mattjos
24/12/2012 13:40 | I bought through halifax at 5.75, only 8,000ish but i also did test trade and could buy up to 100,000 at 5.75. Not that any of this really matters as in the medium term.Happy christmas one and all. | ianous
24/12/2012 10:00 | All buys today @5.75p, though shown as sells. | ianous
24/12/2012 09:57 | Had to happen, timing is bad, price is kind of fair or right given the usual discount to raise decent funds. | 34simon
24/12/2012 09:35 | -- a blanket order for multiple units of Acta's HG100 hydrogen generator from the Company's strategic partner Heliocentris Energy Solutions AG with an expected total value of approximately EUR150,000, which has subsequently seen its first call-down orders; I also liked the fact first call down orders from Heiocentris... First of many we hope. | gspanner
24/12/2012 09:20 | hello jaws .. i did wonder if this was what you were considering. I'm still very much invested and see this as a positive. Be interesting to see who the new II's are when we get the Holdings statements in Jan | mattjos
24/12/2012 09:11 | Mattjos Agree | jaws6
24/12/2012 08:54 | Mattjos I must say I liked this bit especially - "and Project Requests (partner project requests under negotiation at identified volumes and pricing) represented a total value of in excess of EUR10 million." | simonparker5
24/12/2012 08:48 | No surprises today, although would have preferred to see a little more interest form the directors. What it has done is flushed out some further details from the company on just how encouraging the pipeline looks and suggests 2013 should continue to see steady and positive newsflow: "In addition, the Company has seen consistent month on month growth in enquiries and orders. There are currently a number of additional partnerships in relation to sales, distribution and production under negotiation with potential Asian partners. As of 30 November 2012, the Company's Forward Order Book of scheduled orders and contracts awaiting call-down stood at EUR970,000, with new orders coming in regularly. Additional written Proposals awaiting acceptance stood at EUR620,000; and Project Requests (partner project requests under negotiation at identified volumes and pricing) represented a total value of in excess of EUR10 million." | mattjos
24/12/2012 07:50 | A bit sneaky announcing this on Christmas Eve but at least it gets it out of the way and we are fully funded for 2013. What an amazing pipeline of recent news with a lot more to come. | simonparker5
21/12/2012 12:48 | With Paolo holding 17% I don't think he would want the dilution if he had a choice. | encarter
21/12/2012 12:09 | I am pretty sure the JV partners would be delighted to take part in the placing, if any knowing the potential uplift in market value in the coming months/ year & on all the potential commercial deals ACTA would sign - so a placing is warranted in my opinion | euclid5
21/12/2012 09:31 | I'm here for a while regardless of share price but may top up below 5p or sell some at around 100p. I plan to reasses my investment mid 2014. | encarter
21/12/2012 09:24 | A placing at 4p would be fantastic. It would be a great opportunity for true investors who know the potential, to get some cheap stock, but I don't think it will happen unfortunately. | encarter
21/12/2012 07:13 | LOL ......... if you are persistently going to copy and paste the same sentence from the Interims, the least you could do is post the whole paragraph. I'll post the bit you missed and break it up so it's easier for you to comprehend "In addition to the period end cash balances, the Company received 300,000 in grant funding in August 2012 and is expecting to receive up to a further 900,000 from grant project funding by the year end or shortly thereafter (1,200,000 in total since 30 June 2012, before further awards/receipts). " "This financing plus the operational cash flow generated from the gross margin contributions on product sales and bank financing will be used to fund the expected sales growth going forwards." Then your paste and post goes here!!! Now where's that mouse | swimhat
20/12/2012 23:32 | Elephant in the Room ? | scientologyweirdo
20/12/2012 23:32 | "Due to uncertainties in relation to the timing of future sales growth, the Board continues to monitor the working capital position and cost controls carefully to assess the future funding requirements of the Company." | scientologyweirdo
20/12/2012 22:36 | The Powertrekk is the type of product which I believe we will see a lot more of from 2013 onwards & a sector in which ACTA has intimated it is close to volume orders if the partner proves to be Horizon (or similar). | mattjos
20/12/2012 16:05 | ...and their chart is looking very nice indeed. | horneblower |
