20/12/2012 16:04 | Thanks "swimhat" | plasybryn
20/12/2012 16:00 | Well I can't speak for anyone else but I know where my ACTA bullishness is coming from .......... In brief They happen to have the ONLY commercially available AES Stack technology available on the market, which is going head to head with PEM Stacks .............. The main USP is that the AES Stacks are about two thirds cheaper than PEM stacks, which is a game changer!!!! In less than twelve months they have signed agreements for utilising and selling Acta's tech in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, India, China, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii with Companies Domiciled in Europe, Taiwan, India and Australia ........... Heliocentris, SEFCA, M-Field, APFCT, Future-E, MVS, CIBIL and not forgetting the May agreement which some of us think is with Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies, if it is that's a game changer on its own .......... Not bad for a new tech!!! now that's what you call traction It will be interesting to see how many more GLOBAL companies sign up in 2013 The SUM of all parts = big turnover and profits!!! Acta will have a market cap many multiples of today's in 12 months' time ........... probably, lol | swimhat
20/12/2012 14:30 | Hi cheekyfella. Yes I have dipped my toe in the water along with Iofina (IOF) & Quindell (QPP). Were are you getting your bullishness from in respect of ACTA? Presume you heard the EMED webcast yesterday. Bit longer to wait, but should be a vintage year. | plasybryn
20/12/2012 09:30 | well well Plas - have you joined the ACTA party, or still DYOR? I keep telling the EMED crew - | cheekyfella
19/12/2012 20:49 | "Due to uncertainties in relation to the timing of future sales growth, the Board continues to monitor the working capital position and cost controls carefully to assess the future funding requirements of the Company." | scientologyweirdo

19/12/2012 17:27 | Plasybryn, in their October note, SEYP commented: "Demand continues to grow The 1H12 results demonstrate that the company is now fully focused on exploiting its Anion Exchange Membrane technology in the small-scale generation of hydrogen. There is strong initial sales interest and revenue is building rapidly. There have been some delays in testing and the integration of the equipment into customer applications, which have resulted in revisions to the expected out-turn for this year but progress continues to be encouraging." They f/cast break-even at the EBITDA level on revenues of 3.7m & continued interest in the product from a wide range of potential markets around the world underpinning their BUY stance on the shares with a target price of 16p. Personally, I'm expecting the target price to be revised upwards during the course of next year assuming the JV's and partner deals result in volume sales of the core technology. Still seems cheap to me when judged either against their peer group and/or given the relative near-term delivery of profitable revenues from their IP (which seems to be gaining recognition and traction in several sectors and territories). The business model looks quickly scaleable with a healthy Gross Profit margin and costs not needing to rise too much ahead of revenues | mattjos
19/12/2012 17:25 | Thanks IanRonaldMalone2. Very helpful | plasybryn

19/12/2012 13:13 | Steady buying today. | vivgav
19/12/2012 10:36 | All good stuff swimhat. Plenty of news in 2013 to keep the share price rising. Off topic, noticed some unusual buying at SUN so maybe something cooking. I already hold. DYOR. | encarter
19/12/2012 10:07 | From latest RNS, under "About Acta S.p.A." This shows why ACTA will own this market. "Acta's low-cost hydrogen generators represent a unique breakthrough in electrolyser technology. They can operate using mains power or intermittent renewable energy, and produce clean, dry hydrogen already at pressure for use in fuel cell and other applications. This unique combination of features avoids the system complexity and energy cost of further cleaning, drying and compression of the hydrogen, resulting in a simple, compact, low-cost and highly efficient system that is ideally suited for energy conversion and storage applications. In such applications, which include battery replacement and renewable energy storage, low cost and high efficiency are critical to commercial viability, while hydrogen compression is essential for the energy density of the system. No other water electrolyser currently on the market offers this combination of benefits. " Also this bit is interesting, which first appeared in the RNS 7th Dec. and again today. "They are also applicable in non-fuel cell hydrogen and oxygen applications, including oxy-hydrogen gas welding systems, where the Company is generating significant commercial interest. " We haven't heard much about this market. Is it a clue to our next big deal? | encarter
19/12/2012 09:35 | This agreement is yet another example of the size of the back-up/off-grid fuel cell market of which ACTA is very successfully targeting because they have the only low cost electrolyser on the market capable of making fuel cells in this sector cost effective ............. Agreements in this area signed in less than 12 months. Heliocentris ...........Middle East and Africa Future-E ........... China and Europe SEFCA .......... Australia and New Zealand M-Field ........... Taiwan, Asia MVS ........... India for starters | swimhat
19/12/2012 08:48 | encarter lets get to 60p first :) These have massive potential 1) Market Leader 2) Huge Market 3) Technology proven and already adopted 4) Very low cost solution 5) Market penetration already acheived and growing critical mass. These are the reasons I am in. edit- I see now why October's Broker Note had a 20p six month target on these. Lets hope we are on our way. | simonparker5
19/12/2012 08:35 | Clearly ACTA's tech is the best on the market. It works, it's here, not just a theory, it's happening now! So why not 50% of the world market for telecom base stations? Then we have the scooters and the rest as well. These we 60p a share 2 years ago and it seems a long way off but with all these deals coming 600p could be achieved in the next 2 years imho. | encarter
19/12/2012 08:22 | MSV is a very impressive company, big, huge!!!! .......... And now they will be buying units from Acta, who will in a few years be big!! Huge!! See they also sell ammonia cracking units ............ maybe they'll be interested in selling Acta's Ammonia catalysts, as per yesterday's RNS | swimhat
19/12/2012 08:21 | Great RNS ....chart looks poised now. | vivgav
19/12/2012 08:03 | It's a big old sub-continent! | gspanner
19/12/2012 07:58 | This really could be huge. 370,000 base stations in India, if we got only 20% of these thats 74,000 X £500 per unit? which is some £37m of income. This is really looking scalable now and we have the right market penetration. | simonparker5
19/12/2012 07:27 | Another significant partner, I'm definitely looking forward to 2013 They are definitely targeting the right areas and their product seems to be very SALEABLE Oh yeah, that's the Indian discussions taking care of now maybe we'll hear something similar regarding the Brazilian link as has been mentioned in past RNS's | swimhat |
