07/12/2012 17:33 | swimhat, I suspect we are indeed on the same wavelength. I'm really not sure there are many about who truly understand the significance of such a news-piece were it to come out as we both speculate/suspect. btw, i couldn't resist a very few more yesterday so into the 700k's now | mattjos
07/12/2012 16:52 | Mattjos ....... Yeah, I agree and I think we are both probably on the same wave length when it comes to Kim Taylor, she's seems to be a right grafter ........... How about these guys for a new product launch or confirmation of contract .............. Pure speculation, but the slippage to the validation phase going on with the May agreement falls in the Expo's timeline and if the agreement is with Horizon it would be a great event for both companies to showcase their collaboration .......... If it is with them!!!! | swimhat
07/12/2012 16:13 | swimhat .. trade shows are usually just the sort of forum where companies like to make big product and/or contract announcements to their peers & the industry as a whole. Kim Taylor will not let such an event go by without maximising the opportunity, imo | mattjos
07/12/2012 16:07 | MM's can't have any stock left from our desperate seller yesterday, this could blow anytime. | simonparker5

07/12/2012 07:44 | Targeting the right markets Great move, well thought out. P Barritt told me Acta were going to be choosy when it comes to showcasing the Acta tech at events because they are trying to target the events that will be most beneficial as opposed to wasting cash showcasing at as many events as possible. I think this one is on the money, not just because of the Japanese market which is getting behind fuel cells in a big way since the nuclear disaster but also being at one of the largest events in Asia to showcase Acta's tech is the right move, at the right time. | swimhat
07/12/2012 07:07 | A Acta S.p.A. 07 December 2012 Press Release 7(th) December 2012 Acta S.p.A. ("Acta" or "the Company") Tokyo Fuel Cell Expo 2013 hosts Acta electrolysers: a portal to the hydrogen economy Acta S.p.A. (AIM: ACTA), the clean energy products company, is pleased to announce that it is exhibiting its products at the Tokyo Fuel Cell Expo 2013. The exhibit will show Acta's wide range of electrolysers, stacks and hydrogen generators, along with their various applications. Acta's electrolysers provide simple, low-cost and highly efficient hydrogen generation solutions, which produce pure, dry and compressed hydrogen in a way that is easy-to-use and completely safe. The alkaline membrane electrolyser which has been developed over the last seven years does not require the use of expensive precious metals and provides pure, non-contaminated hydrogen which can be locally generated. Acta has a product range from 100 to 1000 litres per hour of hydrogen production and will showcase a selection of products in Tokyo. The products and modules being presented are as follows: -- 100 litre / hour stand-alone hydrogen generator -- 200 litre / hour rack-mounted hydrogen generator -- 200 litre / hour stand-alone hydrogen generator, directly powered by solar PV panels for off-grid operation -- Gas purification module for high purity hydrogen for laboratory applications These products and modules have been designed to address the key commercial applications for mid-sized fuel cell systems, as identified by the Company through its commercial partnerships. Acta has sold its electrolyser systems to some of the leading fuel cell producers and telecom back-up power system integrators in the world, and recently announced a supply agreement with Future-E for integration of its electrolyser into the Jupiter Independence off-grid back-up power system. Acta is looking forward to showcasing its products at the Tokyo Fuel Cell Expo 2013 from 27(th) February until 1(st) March 2013. The Company has seen a lot of interest from the Asian market over the last year, especially in telecom back-up power, and hopes to meet many more potential customers at the Tokyo Fuel Cell Expo 2013. - ENDS- | vivgav

06/12/2012 22:45 | Looks like 3 150k sells to me, more fool them. At best they doubled their money. It may take a year but these will 10 bag at least imho. | encarter

06/12/2012 15:13 | Some desperate sellers here as well today | 34simon
06/12/2012 11:31 | A tweet from Acta, I posted the video the other day, but worth another look as it comes from the horse's mouth ActaCleanEnergy̴ FutureE's video explains grid independent power supply using #fuel cells, #electrolysers and #renewable energy | swimhat
05/12/2012 18:13 | More good news for fuel cell telecom sites. This deal has nothing to do with ACTA but it's another example of the speed and now it also seems the size of orders for fuel cell back-up power units for telecoms sites .......... Which will hopefully extend to customers of ACTA's partners in this area (Heleiocentris, Future-E, SEFCA) around the world in the near future. As an aside ........... I'd be very surprised if Hydrogenics are not looking at Acta's AES tech | swimhat

03/12/2012 15:10 | more likely some FAIL and lose 100% and the others dilute shares by 500-1000% whilst 'chasing' success see... CWR as an example | mellifluous
03/12/2012 11:12 | Sometimes you think it would easier to have stakes in all fuel cell stocks, the worst that can happen in each is you lose 100%, however I bet the ones that come good will make 500-1000% so more than covering the bad ones, just a theory. | 34simon
03/12/2012 10:27 | This video interview from last year's Hannover Messe with Future-E is worth a look, gives an idea of what ACTA can expect from the partnership ........... they have some good backers as well with Deutsche Telekom probably being the stand out name especially seeing as they are utilising Future-E's fuel cells ............ they are ready for customers to order units in the 100's and 1000's and a video demo on where ACTA's EL500 will be installed | swimhat
03/12/2012 10:15 | Thanks, will have a look at PPS. | cliley454
