As at the close of business on 31 October 2013 the Company's Estimated Net Asset Value per share was as follows:

Ordinary shares - 108.07p

This reflects an increase of 1.2% versus the Net Asset Value per share on 30 September 2013

This reflects a decrease of 0.5% versus the NAV/share (XD) on 31 July 2013.

SKYSHIP, I know you are a big fan of this. Maybe I'm being lazy, but can you tell me why you are so confident that NAV will be achieved on liquidation? At first glance the assets look difficult to understand.

BT - well there you go - off on a wine-buying trip today, to the Duras area of Bergerac to replenish the everyday drinking racks down in the cave! Sadly most of the 2011 Sauvignon blancs now finished, except one of our favourites still with the even better 2010 @ E3.50/bottle. Returned after a good lunch with friends and spent 2hours bagging up leaves from a sun-scorched tree - sad - only mid-August!

Tilts - if you're here - are you tempted to uprate your 115p-117p forecast, perhaps just to 117p? Also what payout date are you envisaging?

No, seriously though, it's like AGMs, where no questions are asked when all is going well; it's only when things are going badly that people get animated. Or marinated?

Skyship thank you for your continuing updates. I am aware that nobody else posts in response to your efforts. In my case this is because I accept everything you say and there is no room for argument.

I won't repeat my thanks because I really hate the inanity of posts along the lines of "Up 2p today. Hooray".

Last week's estimate confirmed. Looks as though they're getting pretty good with their estimates these days!

Iti - impeccable timing with that purchase - now 98.75p-99.0p

Soi - At today's improved 99p the following stats apply:

For 115p the GRY @ 97.75p = 9.69%pa; add in the 3.72% current yield and the Total GRY = 13.41%pa.

Interesting to note that for 117p on 31/01/2015 the GRY @ 97.75p = 12.14%pa; add in the 3.72% current yield and the Total GRY = 15.85%pa.

Sky.As my bank are paying me a very generous 1% on a 90 day account I will settle for anything above that!!!Just reading a very interesting book by Nate Silver called The Signal and the Noise.It is about the art and science of prediction and I thoroughly recommend that you read it.Quite fascinating and will influence the way I invest in the future.
