pyemckay - correct, the question now has to be how much more is there to play for; before the interesting question of whether to roll-over to whatever continuation we are offered.

Here we are in the World of Conjecture.

The current NAV is now 110.86p. There will be a 2nd dividend of 1.93p in August. So the prospective net NAV is 108.93p

My guess (and now it is only that) is that we are likely to see further rises in the underlying NAV; so for my Model I am now assuming:

# further growth of 2.8% to provide a likely redemption option of 112p
# further growth of 3.7% to provide a likely redemption option of 113p
# further growth of 4.7% to provide a likely redemption option of 114p

If we then assume a 31/12/14 payout date (advanced from 31/02/15 in my earlier models); the annualised Gross Redemption Yields (inc. the 2nd dividend) would be:

# For 112p: 9.08%
# For 113p: 10.90%
# For 114p: 12.74%

On that basis, I'll continue to hold.

BT - an obese allocation to ACD has proved to be a sensible weighting!

Sold my GLIF at 58.5p....XD of course, so a small profit. Will re-assess.

20 June 2014

Enhanced Share Buy-back Programme: Narrowing of Discount Target

On 3 July 2013 the board announced a Discount Target of 10% below net asset value. This target was reduced to 7.5% in January 2014.

The board today announces that the Discount Target is reduced from 7.5% to 2.5%. The board will keep this target under review and reserves the right to amend it upwards or downwards during the course of the year.

To the extent that the shares trade at a discount wider than this Discount Target the board intends to use available liquidity to repurchase and cancel shares, unless it believes that it would not be in shareholders' interest to do so at the time in the light of the prevailing market conditions or any other such factor.

ACD are holding up relatively well considering the impact Argentina could have on distressed debt markets.

pffft..only halftime :)

tbh before the match i thought we would lose by more..if Derby had gone for it 2nd half and scored the third it would be game over..but they sat back and the bar and goalie saved them..draw would have been fair
