27/7/2017 11:39 | Whatever Tanzanian plans are it must be remembered that they signed up to the Bilateral Investment Treaty protection. This is the reason why many companies invested there. | redhill
27/7/2017 10:36 | There will be no sustained recovery in the share price here so the hard down trend is likely to continue. There is no confidence in the TG and what it's intentions are regarding ACA. The TG means to apply 'pay back time' to this company as payback for unfavourable contract terms over the past 20 years or more. That could mean anything from full nationalization to some huge cash payment plus part nationalization to settle the matter (for now). The new laws give cover to whatever Magufuli has in mind with no recourse to any external authority or arbitration. The TG means business and for ACA this means nothing is ever going back to the way it was ..... | stevea171

26/7/2017 18:08 | This dispute ain't gonna resolve quickly because it does not suit the mad President. He is playing a shrewd political game to become impregnable politically and hold on to power in perpetuity. Where politics takes precedence over economic reality, it is time to exit. | big_cat

26/7/2017 13:24 | One thing to look out for is short positions being closed. In this case it probably won't mean they think the share is going it means they've had enough blood and think there is a chance of it going bust | blindsquirrel
