I did say so but real move happening now. I'll try reentry once bottoms. Negotiation time enough so should result soon. Move towards shutdown should speed up negotiations in ACA's favour. What else can they try? Second RNS should be more positive and reveal their 'fine'.

If these legal documents exist - then ACA must surely have a copy.

The question is -- have they asked ACA to produce copies and they haven't?

Don't necessarily blame the present Govt - if a previous minister accepted a bung for several $million (as is common in Africa) - he probably wouldn't properly file the incriminating files.

well let's also face it that being Africa, it could quite feasibly have been "lost" by the govt! let's see whether sense will prevail, maybe slap on wrist/fine and revised operational model going forward to satisfy all parties. TNZ govt do need to be careful they don't scare away foreign investment

QS99, never underestimate the governments propensity to throw away huge sums of your tax money on dead loss ventures in foreign places. How much of that £450 million is actually going to get turned into genuinely useful things, and how much is going to end up in private offshore accounts? But yes the bully boys in charge of TNZ might halt their games long enough to scoop up the hand outs from idiot pc HM Gov, then back to business as usual.

would UK govt be doing this if TNZ govt were intending on grabbing UK listed company assets against international law? Me thinks not but hey since when has any UK govt been "joined up"! hehe. However, supposing it is, then this could at least be a good sign of "influence" it could wield if necessary, thanks for posting.
