05/12/2005 09:13 | So the news wasnt that bad then? | phbatbjco
03/12/2005 06:58 | Aberdeen website indicates that the "Announcement of Final Results will be on Monday 5th December" | tullynessle
02/12/2005 16:17 | What is "Monday's Report"? Annual Report? | phbatbjco
02/12/2005 14:41 | I have reduced by half of my taken rights issue. IMHO believe share price overvalued and will fall after Monday's report. There may be juicy pickings. | piedro
02/12/2005 13:42 | Seen some nice movement in this over the past couple of weeks. Have we broken out of a price range. Views anyone? | phbatbjco
03/11/2005 08:23 | I'm holding. See above. | napoleon 14th
02/11/2005 17:39 | I have done very well out of ADN and I am heavily overweight on this stock. Should I sell or hold out for even better times ? Any advice or thoughts would be welcomed. | starav
02/11/2005 12:55 | Cat's been at the cream again! Easy to see why - indicators looking good! | napoleon 14th
03/10/2005 21:43 | The chart from August to September is a rather accurately shaped "W". Today's close is above the top of the shape, & I rather fancy it is a breakout which has litte immediate resistance. Next obvious resistance is 150p, from April '02 & Sept '01. Then 250p. Still long, overweight, & in for the medium term. | napoleon 14th
30/9/2005 12:42 | ashley,im still (and staying)very long comments from a friend of mine seems to sum it all up ' Bad news behind it (mis-selling), made good acquisition (Deutsche business), in a rising sector due to rising markets and the return (apparently of the ordinary investor after a four-year absence from stock buying, chart looks strong...onwards and upwards.' | dodddy
28/9/2005 00:13 | Good results & a +ive update on fund movements. If things go on like this the rights issue at 63p is going to look like silly money in a year or two! As success breeds success, that's a reasonable prospect. | napoleon 14th
27/9/2005 15:45 | Doddy, Views/opinions on this? | mr ashley james
26/9/2005 15:44 | Napoleon 14th, Agreed Retention Rate of DAM Business is going to be interesting. I think most press releases written by LSE:ADN seem to be written in Swahili, the deals so complex you need to be Albert Einstein to understand. Interesting Moniker BTW Cheers Ash;) | mr ashley james
23/9/2005 23:45 | Hello, Ash. Remember Sardinesplace? Your analysis is interesting. I simply took up my rights & went overweight, but the retention rate on the Deutsche business is going to be critical to near-term performance. Current clients bailing our before June 1st will reduce the price ADN pay. After 1/6/2006, it becomes bad/worse news.... | napoleon 14th
22/9/2005 10:32 | Piedro, I think I understand this now, rights issue completed and now fully paid so just more ADN Shares in Issue ADNN no longer applicable. Funds under management will have grown with aquisition of Deutsche Bank AG Asset Management business, and in Fund Management big Is perceived to be beautiful. Anyway now ADNN out the way I can only assume the confusion will no longer be an issue. Logically if ADNN was trading at 63.00p plus 45.00p premium ADN should be trading at 63.00p plus 45.00p ie 108p IMHO. Somebody keeps on hitting O trades of 255,000 at 103.50p All IMHO, NAG, DYOR etc Cheers Ash:) | mr ashley james
22/9/2005 09:16 | Doddy/Bruce8, ADVFN Showing LSE:ADNN up 9.00% No 4 largest riser but Level 2 not backing this up. What is the relationship to the underlying share of this listing? Is it a warrant or an option? 21/9/2005 19:46 | Blow me!! If Monday to Wednesday, thats not a right H&S. Looks like they will make quite a party "reversing" and "righting". Anyone for "musical chairs"? | piedro
21/9/2005 11:23 | TK, Yes another A Added to FTSE 250 recently trackers should be building weightings, pretty liquid, seeming gap down, and liked chart. Beautiful chart Inverted Head and Shoulders and Mind The gap above!(;-)0 Cheers Ash:) | mr ashley james
21/9/2005 10:25 | Another A then Ash ;;-) Good Luck | knowing
21/9/2005 10:24 | ibs, Well ADN have only just been readmitted to the FTSE 250 so I would have thought Tracker Funds busy getting their weightings. Cheers Ash;) | mr ashley james |
