At last, the up move has started. Increased my position by 66% today buying at 119 and 121. Big move up on big volume.

What advice can anybody give me about this offer of Convertible Preference Share Units? I have had an e-mail from my broker, but it seems a complicated offer and looks like it is best avoided.

Bit behind the times here but last weeks shares magazine had this as a play of the week saying that the split cap troubles were behind it and it was time for investors to return.

Good day today. Looking for 145/155 or so soon. 155 could offer resistance from August 2002. But ultimately looking for 216 or so from low of Sept 2001.

Times:

Aberdeen Asset Management dipped 2p to 121p as Goldman Sachs placed 16.45 million shares, or 7 per cent, at 120p on behalf of Hermes.

Accounts for that big chunk!
