V.good. Excellent share price performance so far this year. Let's hope the business can follow-up on the promise set by the share price

Martin Clarke, CFO, commented:

"We are pleased that S&P Global Ratings have reaffirmed the BBB- credit rating of the Class A Notes, confirming the resilient and low risk nature of our balance sheet as well as the credit enhancing characteristics of the Whole Business Securitisation. The strategy set out in February will allow the AA to stabilise and grow Roadside and accelerate growth in Insurance, to create shareholder value and, in time, de-lever.

"We are committed to maintaining a disciplined and proactive approach to our capital structure and to delivering long term growth for bond and equity holders."

Shorttracker has AA. shorts at number ten 10%, there
was an article in the newspaper the other week stating
aa most shorted stock, interesting, dyor.

If you look at the short interest chart it is the opposite
to the share price chart, dyor.

I wish the mm's would move it to an awful lot higher, dyor.

AA one-year fixed-rate Isa (Issue 13)
This one-year fixed-rate Isa pays 1.36% AER, making it one of the highest-rate accounts in the market. The minimum deposit is £500 and it accepts transfers.

When you get a renewal price...call them saying you are leaving and the price will refresh much lower...not just here but lots of companies...do same with Insurance companies...those who just accept renewal price are treated as mugs...

A twenty five percent increase in a few days and a
thirty odd from the other month, we could be
in for a little consolidation. It would interesting
to see the latest total short position, dyor.

Minerve,

The FCA probably has woken up to the public frustration how loyal customers are taken for granted and exploited with annual price increases. "Speaking to monkeys" can exact more than "a couple of bucks", e.g. having been an AA member over 35 years I got fed up with being treated like a fool and rang them re their near £90 renewal for roadside assistance. It was promptly cut to £67.

Prelims seem overdue, were 28 March last year. Not to imply a negative as such, but the price rise may be anticipation of 2017 results.

Watchdog to probe 'poorer deals' for loyal customers

The treatment of loyal customers in financial services will be considered by the City regulator in the coming months, it has been announced.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published its 2018-19 Business Plan – a mission statement for the year to come.

The 60-page document covers the spectrum of the FCA’s work.

But one striking feature is the concern expressed about longstanding customers. Those who do not switch providers of their insurance and banking products may be getting less attention and poorer deals than new customers.
