25/6/2021 10:21 | Last year there was a trading update around now. The pull back in the share price in recent days suggests that some know the figures are not going to be as expected. Hope I am wrong. | ![]() dandigirl
25/6/2021 08:40 | Some clarity on the Sports Illustrated minority passive interest..Earlier Wednesday, Bloomberg reported that the deal would run for 20 years. Authentic Brands Group would receive a licensing fee from 888 for the use of the Sports Illustrated brand. Authentic Brands would also receive a roughly 5 percent stake in 888's US operations, with the potential for that stake to grow.https://www.cas | ![]() mip55
24/6/2021 08:02 | Good announcement, though the "minority passive interest" wording is a little weird as it sounds like taking a stake. Why not refer to it as 'royalty payments' or revenue share, if they're cutting what is in effect a cost of sale? Should be positive for the share price though...just odd wording choice! | ![]() adamb1978
24/6/2021 07:53 | Investors should buy 888 shares ahead of any deal to acquire the William Hill assets, in our view," said Jefferies analyst James Wheatcroft in a recent note.He adds a deal for the William Hill assets that could not only help the Israeli gaming company identify avenues for cost reductions, but also potentially lead to a double-digit increase in earnings per share.https://www.ca | ![]() mip55
24/6/2021 07:17 | U.S. partnership with Sports Illustrated888 Holdings Plc ("888" or "the Group") and Authentic Brands Group ("ABG") Announce an Exclusive U.S. Online Sports Betting and iGaming Partnership for Sports Illustratedhttps://w | ![]() mip55
24/6/2021 07:11 | Looks like an excellent long term opportunity for 888. Interesting that ABG takes a minority passive interest in 888 which i think reads a % of certain revenues. As i have been banging on about for the last 12 months its only a matter of time before we get swallowed up. Best in class proprietary tech, platform and brand. 21/6/2021 11:07 | Looking at the link from dandigirl there is a quite detailed item on 888 stating that it has been running 50% off buy-ins to their poker tournaments whilst guaranteeing the same levels of prize money. It would seem that one held earlier in the year suffered a small loss. There was another scheduled for yesterday 20th so maybe that struggled. Who knows? Just maybe the reason for the current decline if the markets are taking the view that these sales are a sign of falling revenue. AIMO regards | ![]() peaeff
21/6/2021 10:34 | We sure need one which, will hopefully, be positive and shed some light on the present trend. | ![]() peaeff
17/6/2021 16:47 | Came across this which I found interesting. hxxps://pokerfuse.co Read that 888 is now in 7 States. Look forward to the update. | ![]() dandigirl
11/6/2021 11:33 | Rimau1 Agree with your view that this is a "buy/hold/forget stock". They generate very high returns on capital and should continue to grow the top-line nicely. I dont see that the share price is particularly demanding at a 20x-ish PE for this year in that context, and as such I'm happy to just let mine run. I dont see this making 50% p.a. but could the share price deliver 20% p.a. for a few years? I definitely think it can so happy to hold in the midcap part of my PF. Adam | ![]() adamb1978

10/6/2021 13:46 | Many places in many countries are a long way from COVID being over and I think the convenience of online gambling is here to stay now. 888 starting to look cheap to me and thinking about yet another top up | ![]() shaker44
10/6/2021 11:45 | I am of the opinion that the markets are assuming that, as the world starts to recover from covid, online gambling will be in decline to some extent. A company update will tell us more and hopefully it will not have any negativity therein. Having been invested here for some years I do recall that the last time this fell from a £3 plus -position there seemed to be very little reason why. regards | ![]() peaeff
