Agree with your view that this is a "buy/hold/forget stock". They generate very high returns on capital and should continue to grow the top-line nicely. I dont see that the share price is particularly demanding at a 20x-ish PE for this year in that context, and as such I'm happy to just let mine run.

I dont see this making 50% p.a. but could the share price deliver 20% p.a. for a few years? I definitely think it can so happy to hold in the midcap part of my PF.

Many places in many countries are a long way from COVID being over and I think the convenience of online gambling is here to stay now. 888 starting to look cheap to me and thinking about yet another top up

I am of the opinion that the markets are assuming that, as the world starts to recover from covid, online gambling will be in decline to some extent. A company update will tell us more and hopefully it will not have any negativity therein.

Having been invested here for some years I do recall that the last time this fell from a £3 plus -position there seemed to be very little reason why.

There should be a pre-closing update later this month. Last year it was 26/06/20. Interims in August.

Patience Ox. This is a buy/hold/forget stock, if you want upwards volatility, FLTR, Gan and Ent are better. We may get some newsflow regarding 888 bidding for the WMH ex US assets or contract wins but this is likely to trade sideways for a while.

Wynn going public with a $3.2bn valuation, annual revenues of $100m growing to $700m in 2023. Safe to say we are quite undervalued :)

New York Times: “The company projected online revenue of $708 million in 2023, based on a 5% to 7% share of the U.S. market. Its current annual run rate is about $100 million, executives said on a conference call for investors. The new entity will also take over the sports books at the Wynn properties in Las Vegas.

Foley, the chairman of Fidelity National Financial Inc., is also an owner of the Golden Knights pro hockey team in Las Vegas.

The Wynn deal follows other gaming companies that have gone public through a SPAC, including DraftKings Inc., Golden Nugget Online Gaming Inc. and Rush Street Interactive Inc.

Separately, the company reported first-quarter revenue that was less than analysts expected and a loss its core casino business that exceeded Wall Street expectations.”

A few hoping for a similar outcome it seems. Appetite is there but right deal is required but still confidence behind the scenes in what the company can achieve.

Apollo have entered a bidding war with Entain for Tabcorp. If Apollo win i wonder if they will still be as interested in WMH ex US which 888 would like to buy.

Hopefully just a short term adjustment before pushing on. 3 broker rating this week all with 'Buy' ratings including JP Morgan ranging from 460 to 490. They looks like a good time to top up at these levels. As always DYOR

To me, the company isnt excessively valued at all at around 21x PE and they generally guide conservatively. 888 has a lot more growth potential in the US, they generate very strong ROCE, cash on balance sheet, pays a dividend. really, whats not to like?

Granted its easy to sell something that has gone up and bank profits, and I agree with the adage that 'no one went broke banking a profit' but equally no-one got rich selling well-performing companies early.

I bought in at just over £1m around a year ago and don't really see any point selling til the story changes. Management has delivered - happy to watch them carry on delivering

Thats true but we kind of raced through £4 to £4.50 before this pull back. Got to peak sometime

Interesting to see the same pattern emerge in the chart as the share price passes through £1, then £2, then same again at £3 and again at £4. The price pulls back a bit and the. Pushes through. Let’s hope history repeats!

Expected a retraction today but I wouldn't have guessed 5%. So I've just bought back some of what I sold yesterday hoping for a late rally and steady rise thereafter.

Fantastic results today and in all honesty what we expeceted it's just that it has taken a while for some to jump on board. Think the trading update represents a conservative outlook and may again exceed expectations come the end of the year. Sportsbook growth an opprtunity to develop. Excellent momentum and US openings. Yes casinos opening will impact somewhat but also people do get lazy, checkout Amazon buyers. GLA DYOR
