08/1/2020 12:09 | 15X earnings doesn't sound like a strong buy to me but fairly priced | makinbuks
07/1/2020 17:17 | No TO talk - just cannot work out whether 888 is a strong buy at this level. Can't help thinking it will pop over 200 soon with a 250 takeover price - could easily be this year | trentendboy

07/1/2020 13:17 | Agreed, presumably 5% LFL growth was less than expected despite guidance being maintained | makinbuks

14/11/2019 04:17 | I agree. Overlooked and undervalued. Due for a catch up after positive newsflow soon | shaker44
13/11/2019 17:59 | Don't underestimate 888 in the US - they are there. Brand is well known. I can imagine the large shareholders being happy with £2.50 a share now. Would be my guess for a sale. Their white/grey mix is something I need to check but sorely tempted at these prices for a quick 20 percent | trentendboy
13/11/2019 14:54 | No invite to the US party?.....Where is this going to end up when the UK Gambling Police make up their new rules? | kop202
08/11/2019 11:55 | I agree, re the US but its been a long time coming | makinbuks
07/11/2019 16:16 | Finkie, Whilst I agree with you , it doesn't solve the problem of those with gambling issues. A lot of them probably don't have credit cards or even bank accounts. If you watched those programmes last year on TV most problem gamblers were going straight from collecting their benefits to the bookies. The government are using the old sledgehammer to crack a nut scenario. A lot more needs to be done by the companies themselves to identify these people and stop them. The companies comply on the surface with current legislation in this area but do very little to act on it. I think what you will find is now this crackdown has been proposed the on line companies will now step up efforts to curb the problem gamblers. Some compromise will then result with probably a limit on cards transactions but ultimately the online companies have to step up. Also im hoping that by the time any legislation is implemented the States will be more open and any loss in uk earnings is more than made up. | oohrogerpalmer
07/11/2019 15:09 | its my personal view that gambling on credit cards should be outlawed, betting with money you can afford to lose is fine, betting with borrowed money is totally different. I wonder how that would affect 888 etc?! | finkie
05/11/2019 16:10 | And what's the chance of achieving the plan in that tough market ..... I am out | qvg

05/11/2019 15:53 | Good spot, makes sense. UK is 888's biggest market so its hardest hit. Brings us back to whats the plan for the US | makinbuks
