888 has a Capital Markets show on the 4th June. Trying to showcase thethe company and maybe take on some debt for an acquisition or two. Need some good talkers in there who put a line underneath the share price decline and can sell the company well.

They wont let this one move a jot.

Agenda still in play.

Has not risen by more than a penny before 9am in the last 32 trading days. Has fallen more than a penny 22 of the last 32 trading days before 9am.

Shows that the spivvs have this by the balls.

Quite shocking really what the spivvs can do with a stock. Need them to move onto other stocks soon. Thousands of stocks who make no money or have burdens of debt and are basically untouched by the spivvs. Maybe its linked to the main owners in some way...

Regulation wont stop people Gambling neither will it stop people from Gambling until they have lost everything .Regulation cant control human nature trying to get back something youve lost. Those useless Labour mp morons who i wouldnt vote for if my life depended on it wont be winning anything least of all a General Election so no worries on that front .

He's most likely thinking on the same lines as the crowd, regulation will have a big impact on margins, the game's changed for the sector.

He sold at 152p when I and others on here thought it was a low price and worth more. I don't know what he knows or whether he needs money

Quite likely to be the buy back I think. Ex CEO likely to sell next batch of shares in June so maybe sensible to await this likely large sell before rushing in

.... and rightly so it would seem.I expect to see short positions closing en masse now, as they have forged themselves and the bottom was reached.

Stay clear here - stats dont lie - 79% of the past years trading days the stock has fallen

Small volume today, and they drop it.

There is an agenda to drop this to wherever its going to go. Let that play out first before getting caught out in the spivvs game.

£3.30 a ayear ago today and £1.28 now and still no one buying. Tells you something ....

Can't see it dropping much more tbh. I've been waiting patiently since the US news, bought back in on Friday... we shall see. Very happy at these levels can't go far wrong.

Still waiting with cash but will wait for the scum to do their work

The outgoing CEO sold 2 million shares in April at £1.54 was it so maybe an overhang I myself am keeping an eye on this share once again might dip my toe in.

Check out GVC investor day presentation....not sure they agree with your statement: "guarantee you the FOBTS reductions have decimated high street bookies profits"

But I do agree that, regardless, no harm to 888 so I continue to buy both.

I go the bookies a lot and can guarantee you the FOBTS reductions have decimated high street bookies profits. That however doesn’t apply here so still feel we are getting dragged down by a sector collapse rather than it applying to 888. William Hill released 17 week results since the start of the year and maybe 888 should likewise to stop the rot rather than wait till sept for half year results

Surely this is now an undervalued company? Have the market makers lost big on a horse race and now taking it out on 888? Directors out of favour?

I'd agree only that the family will decide whether to sell or not, and I can't see them selling when conditions are unfavourable.

I agree alex i had the same ride up from 30p didnt sell enough at 300p but some, still a shockingly quick erosion of shareholder value here and the company has never really screwed up in a big way but is 60% down from those highs. Had great divis over the time and im still well ahead on these and have recently bought more at 130/135. Surely the bidders that were around before still have the same needs re their technology etc, feels like a sitting duck now.
