09/8/2016 16:11 | Well they have until August 21st to produce a rabbit out of the hat | frankiethecabbie
09/8/2016 16:04 | Dont think they will pull this off | jamesjoel
09/8/2016 15:53 | Bid rejected | frankiethecabbie
09/8/2016 13:51 | The first bid was always going to be a tester , it's the next bid that counts | frankiethecabbie
09/8/2016 13:15 | The city seem pretty unconvinced that the deal makes sense at that price. I can see the merits. Hills saying is must be way above £4 is pushing it a little I think but the £4.06 price looks fair. | trentendboy
09/8/2016 12:52 | I read this in The Telegraph's iPhone app and thought you'd like to read it: | frankiethecabbie
03/8/2016 22:29 | 888 is currently occupied with its bid for William Hill, but as it provides the poker client for WSOP.com in Nevada and New Jersey, the addition of the WSOP brand to its business looks like corporate common sense. The use of the WSOP live series for online marketing suggests that 888 already places a very high value on its association with WSOP.This year, 888 was the primary official sponsor of the WSOP live tournament series, and through satellite tournaments, sent 148 players to the Main Event. Two of the qualifiers Griffin Benger and Fernando Pons made it to the November Nine.I think the 200 is a misprint in today's volume but have just found the above in a report about Caesars | frankiethecabbie
03/8/2016 22:04 | Huge volume today not seen before. 200 mil. but share price didn't really move. Any thoughts on whether the deal's been done already? | tines
03/8/2016 11:15 | Should the deal go ahead hopefully we will follow GVC progress | frankiethecabbie
02/8/2016 15:21 | William Hill seem to have their own agenda but it's not helping their share price today either | frankiethecabbie
01/8/2016 13:34 | surely with all the share dealing (notifications) between rank, 888 and whm something will come about? Believe 888 could become huge if this and then further deals transpire. | tines
31/7/2016 12:16 | Obviously the large shareholder didnt agree with something | jamesjoel
28/7/2016 22:38 | Whichever way you cut it, if the deal goes through either equity or debt placement will need to take place. That's why the share price is not advancing (if the deal doesn't go through its highly likely a major leg down in the share price) and that's where the risk lies. As a last thought, don't forget the top shareholder offloaded a significant amount of shares a short while back. The message is very clear. | tongosti
28/7/2016 06:29 | If the deal gets done I am not that confident.I am at that age where I need to reduce my exposure to single shares lol | jamesjoel
27/7/2016 12:41 | I am staying in can see this heading north with upcoming results and if the deal gets done this will head to £3 pretty fast | frankiethecabbie
27/7/2016 12:15 | Im out as well | jamesjoel
27/7/2016 11:08 | Agreed, out this morning at 228p. Will wait on the sidelines to see what happens. | ricardothebrave
27/7/2016 10:38 | Out this morning. Share price is not likely to advance much further if the deal goes ahead (huge question marks on how to fund the merger). On the other hand, if the merger falls through, the bottom may drop. The way I see it, this has limited upside and a large downside profile at the moment. | tongosti |
