"Without any warning or public announcement, 888poker has started to ban players for allegedly using prohibited artificial intelligence tools while playing poker. Not only did the poker room boot individuals from its site, but it also confiscated the funds in their accounts. These actions started on Aug. 4, 2017. It's not clear how many users are affected, but it seems that it's a non-trivial percentage of the winning regular players on the 888 poker platform."

Also got a live spreadbet on 888 and went long a month ago in addition to core holding.Was expecting the move up a few weeks ago but better late than never

Hi, no idea - could be nothing but could crater the share price if bad news. Ig did a 10% gstop which was good enough for me and I'll ratchet it up if this heads up

It won't jump much on PENN news.
The sorry state of the states is always the slow drip drip & when it does finally get agreed it tends to have no impact on the share price
It would need government state wide agreement to shift price significantly until then individual state news will probably go over the city boys heads.
The odds are that PENN will delay any decision and the whole state side online betting saga will just rumble on.

It is all about US regulation - if PENN state go this week then expect a significant jump. Hard to see it not going through now

Positive broker write up today suggesting the 'investigation' sell off has gone to far. Talks up a potential bid at some point.

Looks like a mighty nice entry point for a quick gain as it returns to £2.80 and the mom traders get back in

For 1H 2016 this was on 31st August.

All seems to have gone quiet on the TO front and over in the US the states closest to approving online poker keep running into problems with their respective senates. The biggest problems appear to be the levels of tax the senates are seeking to impose and the 'bad boy' exclusions for those companies who provided services against the law banning it, mainly Poker Stars.
