03/7/2017 23:28 | Indeed, looks like a very good entry point to me | trentendboy
03/7/2017 15:49 | Can't believe how cheap these are at 251p | festario
25/6/2017 17:44 | Interesting.Disgrace that they were initially implicated | trentendboy

21/6/2017 12:29 | Peaeff Aologies for the misspelling in previoous post. It's a brave person who buys nigh on a hundred million quids worth of stock with this cloud hanging over 888. Seems like the founder did very well to reduce his holding at close to the high for the SP | mylands
21/6/2017 10:24 | mylands My post was based on the sale of same by a major shareholder. I assumed that the market will need to sell those shares as we have had no RNS saying that they were bought, or transferred, in their entirety. No inside info. just an opinion as to a possible cause for the price drop. I don't feel that the enquiry into 'responsible gambling' policy's warranted a 10% drop but will be a part of it until we get the outcome. regards | peaeff
21/6/2017 08:52 | TEB How come you and Paeff posted six days ago about an overhang of 40 million? Inside info? | mylands
21/6/2017 08:39 | A think that the others will not want 888 to fall into the hands of Pokerstars or GVC. I can see a brick and mortar US company moving in. The other is back to William Hills which will help them globally and in the US (cannot see it myself). This is for who wants to be global gaming giant. | trentendboy
21/6/2017 08:15 | Mylands has mentioned the reduction from 20 - 12% of one of the major shareholders. This is now very interesting and a bid more likely. I do not hold here just being nosey. A good fit for gvc and a step closer to ftse100 possibly? | srpactive
20/6/2017 14:59 | I have a feeling that the takeover is getting close now - US regulating and quality assets in very short supply. Going longer - be very surprised if this stays below 300 for long. | trentendboy
15/6/2017 15:49 | 40million-spillion But yes, likely to hold it back for a while but like a shaken bottle of coke, once the lid is taken off - boom. | trentendboy
15/6/2017 13:59 | I would have guessed to do with overhang of 40million shares | peaeff
15/6/2017 08:32 | Still being held backFroth off the TO bid perhaps | trentendboy
14/6/2017 17:10 | Surprising lack of action today given gains elsewhere and GVC flying high. Something seems a little off for some reason. Might look at going long on this - something is holding it back.... but what | trentendboy
14/6/2017 09:49 | Note from Cenkos re 888 having good opportunity with poker in the US. NY Poker: yesterday bill S 3989 passed the New York Senate and now passes to the Assembly, where the legislative session ends next Wednesday, meaning its chances of progress are uncertain to say the least. However we think this is an interesting development given the inclusion of a ‘bad actor’ clause, effectively excluding PokerStars from the market, the viable licensing and tax framework (11 licenses at $10m each and a 15% GGR tax rate) and the size of the market at 19.8m. We think 888 Holdings and GVC Holdings would be particularly well placed to benefit from the opening up of the market. | danboris2
07/6/2017 09:57 | Should pick up with the general market once the election is out of the way. It was always going to fall to the "sellout" levels as they shares are absorbed | trentendboy

01/6/2017 17:42 | Why the sudden drop on opening this morning?? | oohrogerpalmer
01/6/2017 11:32 | Dirt Cheap - IMO an offer will come within days. (But I might be wrong) | rbcrbc
01/6/2017 09:54 | So it's cheap then? | festario |
