19/6/2017 10:02 | Yes, a shaped charge, which blows holes in the casing. | 11_percent
19/6/2017 09:55 | They use the term charges. These are controlled explosives. | tidy 2
19/6/2017 09:54 | Yes, they use the explosives to perforat the casing, in the 2 zones. Then they use pressure, explosives and chemicals to frack the rock. | 11_percent
19/6/2017 09:51 | I fully understand the use of explosives for perforation. I'd love to know how they are used for fraccing. | ride daice
19/6/2017 09:49 | They use explosives to perforate the well. | 11_percent
19/6/2017 09:34 | Ok, 12 hours and the Upper zone will be fracked. Then they will flow it, for the clean up. This time tomorrow, we will have an indication of flow rate......... | 11_percent
19/6/2017 09:29 | Explosives ? Please clarify. | ride daice
19/6/2017 09:16 | First stage stimulation is the explosives to open up fissures. Upper and lower two intervals. Second stage is injecting frack fluids to lock in place for a period of time say 2 weeks, this is the stimulation that will release locked oil and tell us if it will flow once 25-50% of the frack fluids have been recovered. Zone 2 will then be commingled and purge out the more frack fluids in the lower zone before that free flows oil to surface | tidy 2
19/6/2017 08:46 | They have already analysed the oil, it's the picture at the top of the thread. Granted they have to confirm that it is similar but given that they have a base case, this should not take a significant length of time... | control1
19/6/2017 08:44 | Classic tree shake to get rid of the weak. This will be blue by close. | ryry0707
19/6/2017 08:38 | Looking at 2-3 months from here it seems for final flows. Few weeks for potential flows then when oil comes to surface they will start taking samples to examine over a few weeks and again when both zones commingled. | tidy 2
19/6/2017 08:27 | all pi shut out......not good enough. the market should be suspended? | manfrom

18/6/2017 21:50 | That would be from the RNS 13th June 2017 which, amongst other things, said.... Highlights -- Sundry application for stimulation approved -- Logistic planning on schedule to perform stimulation 17th June -- Production testing remains on schedule for late June / early July Icewine#2 Operations Update Based on the interpretation of data collected in both Icewine#1 and Icewine#2, the final design submitted was based on two stimulation stages comprising of multiple perforations in each stage. One stage will be executed in the lower HRZ and the other in the upper HRZ. These two zones were chosen largely based on areas with similar stress profiles, coincident with where hydrocarbon concentration is highest. The upper zone will be flowed back for up to two weeks before the lower zone is opened up and comingled with the flow from the upper zone. An additional two weeks of clean up will occur for the comingled flow before the Company may be in a position to report hydrocarbon flow rates. | control1 |
