07/6/2017 11:41 | jovi1 - anything at or above 80bpd is commercial. Due to the nature of the HRZ, a full frac would result in a multiple of circa 30 that flow rate. Its all conjecture and complex scientific calculations. PB expects significant flow rates. DW wants to evidence to the market 100bpd+ 88e keeps surprising the market to the upside with ICE2. I have every reason to expect the same with the flow results. But if it was easy then share price would 10p. | rodrod1
07/6/2017 11:24 | Lw425 What make you think that this will retrace did I miss some news here? Tidy where the 80bpd number come from Thanks | jovi1
07/6/2017 11:03 | Bless you squire007 Not sure were your mat come from I got original investiment of approx 40k more an 800 k portafolio at the time Now the investiment is approx 400k on a portafolio of 1.4 mill were clearly this become the lion share And you are right I don't have subscription on Advfn that is a choice not a necessity | jovi1
07/6/2017 10:58 | Why are people paying 3.38p now when it clearly going to retrace now for the rest of this week. Madness. At some point there will be trader panic as they perceive all the paper profits vanishing into cyberspace. Already the sell price is 7% lower than you *could* have got this morning. That 7% would take you maybe 5 years to earn back in decent cash interest account. | lw425
07/6/2017 10:42 | MMs playing with the day traders and skimming off a decent margin Loads of shares to sell to US buyers after lunch at 3.5p | rodrod1
07/6/2017 10:13 | Mind The Gap. 3.15p Here We Come. ASX will have a hissy fit tonight. Will the plonkers who paid 3.60p+ with RSI over 80 please step forward and take a bow. | lw425
07/6/2017 09:07 | Yep all good thanks mate, very pleased to hear the same for yourself.Yes I swerved the GKP boards some time back too - home now mainly to some very mentally disturbed people; I never intend getting involved with a parade like that again.Good luck here, I shall check in now and thenTel | terry hardacre

07/6/2017 08:51 | Well well, it's Terry........long time no speak (since I basically stopped posting on GKP threads). Things are good thanks, and I hope all is well with you and your family too. Hope your Dad is doing good. Cheers, H | herschel k
07/6/2017 08:25 | Well I'm in for a modest 600k shares, having dipped in and out in the past, but looking like plenty good reasons to hold for a while now.Nice to see Herschel here, a voice of sanity who I trust. If you're reading Herschel I hope life is good, business is going well, family are healthy. | terry hardacre
07/6/2017 07:58 | Looking at 88E's chart, two things seem obvious: 1) A Rising Flag pattern has been developing since Feb 2016. This is one of the strongest indicators of a further rise to come - potentially into the 5p to 6p area in the next few days. 2) Apparent on the 5 year chart, is a gap to be filled back up to the 12p to 18p range - potentially on commencement of flow testing later this month, or in the lead up to the flow test results. | englishlongbow
07/6/2017 01:09 | Thanks Just as even if I not very good at selling but this is been good to me mostly due to luck and the timing of the but where I got 12 mil share at 0.0035 and what it was a 5% of my portafolio is now become considerable more | jovi1
06/6/2017 23:27 | Commercial is 80 bopd. This will allow calculations to be carried out on a horizontal well giving projections of what commercial successes are possible with what the field can provide. This is bigger than what we think. It's along the lines of eagle Ford which has 5 majors that share EF who have many smaller companies also feeding off it. Proving it can flow commercially drastically increases it 100's of square miles value into $bn's. That's when PB and DW will have an idea of what price tag the field may possess. All indications so far point to it being equal or better than EF so enjoy the ride. | tidy 2

06/6/2017 20:06 | jovi1, Not selling until I get a sniff that Dave might. westmoreland lad, We have no idea whether this will flow at commercial rates. In fact I don't even know what a commercial rate for an unconventional discovery would be on the slope. But I do think that we all agree that it has billion barrel potential and it's onshore and massively derisked by everything we have seen so far unlike a lot of the deepwater dry holes that many of us have pursued in recent history. | ride daice
06/6/2017 20:06 | jovi -- do your own thing that suits you and your wallet best. May I repeat from a month ago ? See if that helps -----------> westmoreland lad - 05 May 2017 - 00:02:58 - 12014 of 12197 88 Energy - Project Icewine - Billion barrel oil prize - 88E Best possible advice CM is 'stick hod' Hope this helps for other new comers --> Just scanned back this thread and noted many respected posters / pi with serious experience in the oil game. Many of which are keeping quiet or only post when a contribution is justified. So far so good and a reminder for those looking in -- CENCOS 08-03-17 Updated valuation, forecasts and outlook: 88 Energy We have updated our NAV and forecasts to reflect the new shares to be issued, funds raised and the latest cost estimate for Icewine#2. Our overall RENAV, which includes the conventional Alpha and Bravo leads, drops from 11.9p to 10.8p due to dilution. We continue to set our target price in line with our Tangible NAV (TNAV), which decreases to 7.8p, from 8.5p. Despite the dilution, we view this raise as a prudent one, which will provide a buffer as the company forms its plans post well. In our view, the coming months could prove transformational, should the Icewine#2 well prove up the production potential of the HRZ shale, as anticipated. This could unlock an almost unparalleled resource base amongst junior E&Ps, further de risking what we believe could in time become the next major North American shale play. Buy. 06/6/2017 19:43 | Are we selling or not yet? | jovi1
06/6/2017 19:31 | As somebody who has been invested since TPET it's very pleasing to see the share price making some progress at last. We have no idea what the next month will bring but I am encouraged when I think back to Paul's comment that 'You haven't seen a fraction of my optimism' coupled with todays news that the original plan to perform micro-stimulations is pretty much pointless given the quality of the section.
