Will need to drill more to get that kind of production.

rodrod,

people also need to bear in mind that they are drilling a vertical well here.

they should not expect flow rates of several thousand barrels a day, but rather a few hundred is a MASSIVE result - even 100bpd could be good enough if the structure data is of high quality, because it means a horizontal well would produce many multiples of that with sufficient stimulation.

if we get anywhere close to 500bpd it will be truly phenomenal result........more than that, and oh my word.........

Vimster - it will flow 100% sure. How commercial is what its all about. Flow rates, decline rates, how much of enlarged acreage is recoverable etc. Masses amounts of information to be released as some answers known already.

This is the main event. Pass this and they've broke its back. Sales tag ready to be printed.

The reports and feedback from BOD would be surprised if this doesn't turn out to be enormous. They know the oil is there. Just got to get it flowing.

tidy 2,

Even with a decent flow rate at IW#2 there is a massive amount of work to be done before this is sold.

60p-£1 sales tag. If commercial which is looking highly likely.

Ok, I hear what you are saying, and I expect exceptional flow rate as well.

However, farm-in deals are notoriously hard to do and take time.

The share price will fall back during that period.

squire,

I posted a while back the values of shale land deals over the last five or ten years (I think).

take a look at that as well.

I think I suggested $4bn using $10k per acre, and that will be low if they have exceptional vertical flow rates.......

indeed raf.

those posts from LSE give an idea of the potential here.

if they prove this up with very good flow rates (let alone exceptional, which I am expecting tbh), and then start to discuss farm-in details, or full/part sale of various areas.......the share price will go ballistic.

the LSE posts gave you an idea of the value that could be in the ground here......$12bn was mentioned at one point.

$12bn is just under £9.5bn
Current market cap is c.£185m

If they got half that, or even a quarter......well, you do the maths.

If it is going up like this now, I wonder what will happen when the oil starts flowing at high rate.
