Quotes of confidence from PB & DWThese quotes should give us all even more confidence that this will flow... "We had a service company whose name is going to go unsaid who took a look at this and said this is the best shale reservoir they have seen in the world." Paul Basinski "We bought in, arguably the world's expert in the thermal maturity of the North Slope, Ken Peters. He's a professor at Stanford and USGS, he's the most published guy, he's an expert on the North Slope - and we had him independently evaluate it and he came back with the same interpretation (as us)." Paul Basinski "We have an extraordinary reservoir.....it's the best (Shale) I've seen" Paul Basinski "This is the most studied petroleum system in the world. We know the oil came from right where we're at." Paul Basinski "We now control the whole sweet spot for the play.....the idea if we were going to do this - let's not leave money on the table" Paul Basinski "We know the reservoir is amazing....the reservoir can flow at high rates" Dave Wall "Paul has been working on this in secret for years. He didn't want to let the cat out of the bag until he had critical mass" Dave Wall "All of us on this stage have looked at - in my case hundreds - in Paul and Stephen's case probably thousands of projects. So when we look at these type of opportunities like this one - we all agree that this is - for me it's a one in ten... fifteen year event that I see one as good as this." Dave Wall I cannot imagine being out of this one when the results come in ! I would also imagine there will be heavy buying from fund managers once this is derisked with positive flow rates. Exciting few weeks ahead....

Phrontist 1,744 postsRE: Buyout - why, how muchAn interesting variation is this. Flow Rate is good to excellent. Our Group sells about 10% of the asset area for $5b US. This would include most of the area where our work has been focused and is covered by existing de-risking. That leaves our Group with time (no panic) to work on the remaining area, strong finance to carry it through, and still have 90% of the land. Continue with further test drilling and de-risking activities generally. Sell off chunks at, say, one a year over a five year to 10 year period. That could give 88E shareholders massive annual Capital Refunds for a number of years as opposed to just once in 2017. Overall yielding a much higher site value than the 1-off sale mentioned earlier. And 88E would still be in the Exploration business running concurrently with increasing levels of Production activities from the buy-in companies. The share price is going to be like a yoyo over the summer. ha ha. big sweat. I have been steadily buying and will hang on through to 2018 unless a single complete sell occurs. Maybe I will just hang in here as long as 88E is conducting Exploration on our North Slopes areas. DW and PB will be the oil production industry's best friends. With a string of manageable de-risked sites to sell over time. And do not forget. Alaska is a USA State. We are operating on land, not sea. USA is the safest and most powerful country in the world. The best expertise anywhere on oil recovery technology. And we get these aspect free. ATB Phrontist.

Phrontist 1,742 postsBuyout - why, how muchOur little group of 88E, BEX and AE are essentially an exploration business. Traditionally this type of business is very high risk. It could be argued that the worst of that high risk for our group is now over. We are in a final stage of proving out what has already been proven out elsewhere (Eagle Ford). Further stages of de-risking can occur across the whole geographic space we manage. But the nature of this is more about the best places to locate rigs. Less to question if oil is under various areas. This is not really the early high risk associated with a new exploration project. It is more the support work leading to full production roll out. The finance involved in production is vast compared to exploration. If the flow rate results are good, then our work is done. Which means sell the asset to highest bidder, or bidders. Certain early targets within the group were such that 88E shares would reach about $1.25 revalued according to the existing number of shares. The amount of finance required to buy the entire site could be $12b US. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay if they want it. Not be involved in partial share swaps. They would fund this with part cash, part loan and part bonds, type of process. Because of the amount, two or three large operators could be involved. This reduces buyer exposure but still gives them a nice 30-year project. 88E would have sold assets for cash. AIM rules dictate that most, but not all, of that cash is refunded to shareholders. We would continue to own 88E shares but after the refund the price would drop (obviously). I am not sure if Accumulate would be sold off or its assets sold off. That is a negotiating thing. If Flow Rate is excellent then my guess is deals will be in process during August and September. This is the cleanest outcome for shareholders. I think it is the hope and target for our BoD. If Flow Rate is not brilliant, we will have to soldier on to handle this situation. This will cost money and so likely another Cash Call. But my feeling is the share price will still be pretty healthy because we would have moved another big step forward. Who can say, 4p to 6p maybe more. Unless big Investors become involved, not just us PI's. The problem for us little guys is that a poor Flow Rate could add another year to our exploration cycle to devise and prove technology that gets that oil extraction figure up. Some shareholders bought in during the 35p down to 10p era from 2012 to mid 2014. I am sure our BoD are mindful of this and are intent on rewarding them with a recovery back to those levels. Our BoD are extremely experienced and talented people. They will know every option possible, and there are many variations as time rolls on. Just my speculation and opinion for now. All the best.Observation Strong Buy

LSE is for ramping.

It is controlled by Hedge Funds and scammers who manipulate AIMm shares.

However, I take your point....the posts on LSE are ramping the sp, in light of the inside information which has been communicated to City Boys.

AIMO.

To believe that there isn't inside trading especially in oil and mining industry is crazy but is just as Crazy to think that 20 or 30 people working on a rig would move a market
More likely is that people count the day to the potential news and time their investiments according, in doing so often push price above the level of the news and too often we see stock fall on good expected news

Wolansm :.....I know what you mean .
Some ten years ago I got taken to the cleaners where I lost my shirt on a scam that was very heavily promoted on ADVFN . At that time the BB was infested with rampers and derampers . I was so persuaded that the Company was a winner I filtered anyone I thought guilty of deramping the stock .
I had several hundred people on my filter list !
In the end the derampers were proved to be correct .
I`m not quite so dismissive these days , I don`t filter people unless they are overtly stupid , aggressive or vulgar .
There are morons and MORONS ! The trick seems to be first never , EVER , fall in love with a Company and second ; to keep an open mind as to every possibility , no matter how distasteful it may be to accept that it may just run contrary to your own wishes , hopes and beliefs .
Anyway , sorry if that sounds at all patronising , it`s just my view after experiencing a life changing catastrophe .
BUT ...... in essence I do agree with you , it`s still important to `Spot the Moron`!

Good luck with 88e , imho this is a great (Perhaps unique) opportunity to ride a real winner to the finishing post . Two reasons ; the size and potential quality of the resource and , most important , the quality of the management team running the show .
I don`t think I`m a moron , I have made stupid mistakes in the past , but I`m hoping that this will help to restore some of historical lost capital for me .
BUT ~~~ Of course DYOR , Do your own thing !
Best of luck to you .

Boob sorry meant to say yes possible but to come out and put it on a board is admitting to insider trading or at best blatant ramping and trying to influence newbies I think it's the latter. Best action is the filter button as want nothing to do with morons.

Rod :... I totally agree ~~~~~ but !~~~~~
I don`t think it`s beyond the bounds of possibilities that some of the guys working on the site ,(perhaps Artic Fox) have a VERY good idea of what is about to happen here .
They will have wives and families and the serious potential here (perhaps even a bit of Oil!) may have leaked a little bit .
These Guys who have drilled dozens of wells can probably smell `It` !
After our `Experiences` I rule nothing in , nothing out , trust no one , and don`t , won`t believe anything until I can see it and hear confirmed 100% through official channels .

BUT ~~~~~ This is very exciting , and very different and there is increasing `Buzz` about the potential .
Good luck , I think we deserve a little :)
